Rain poured hard in Kent. The once City of Knowledge was no more. Villagers and nobles alike suffers from poverty. The walled keep of Kent shut close and became sanctuary for those immune to the plague.
Princess Victoria Kinder, Now assumed her mother's throne, pronounced with her new name: Queen Maria Vasilissa XI taking it from her grandmother.
Queen Vasilissa frowned at sight of her beloved kingdom. Thousand lay at their death bed as like she was three years ago.
She turned around finding her three most trusted friends; Princess of Yorkshire, Lady of Essex and the Queen of Sussex, All three countries fallen to the Direct Plague. Kent is the last country standing with the plague running around their sleeves. Scotland has cleared them off in the whole Empire leaving them to deal with the Plague without the support of Scottish brigade.
"I see your admiring your kingdom." Queen Almiara started, She was the first one to contract the plague among all royalties. She, Whom also was a Princess, Inherited her mother's throne as soon as she was cured, Apparently her mother contracted the plague and died earlier.
"What can I admire in my fallen kingdom. It's only a matter of time until Scotland disowns Kent and will be erased from maps." Queen Vasilissa sighed
"We all felt that way when our respective countries received a letter from Scotland." Princess Elyon placed her hand on my coated shoulder. She contracted the Poison Plague much earlier than Queen Vasilissa. Her parents were frail and old, so her sister took over at the young age of 16. Her sister striven to find the cure that coursed thru the countries.
"Our Princess was lost in earliest stages of the plague. Since the Queen and the King contracted the plague too, I was placed to lead. But I lost Essex to the plague too early." Lady Alexandra spoke out after Princess Elyon.
"Can you all tell me how is this going to help me get encouraged?" Queen Vasilissa asked jokingly
"We may have lost our kingdoms to the plague, But your's is still fighting. It can hold out to the faith of the Stella Cadente." Queen Almiara said, Her eyes glistering with hope. The others just nodded, agreeing to the same statement of Almiara.
"But, It''s just a myth right?" Vasilissa asked. As a young Queen in desperate measures, She doesn't have time to believe in such mischeif.
"Yes, But all myths have a little truth in them. Right Alexandra?" Elyon spoke out.
"Yes, And we advise that you seek the myth of the Stella Cadente, The Star of Faith" Alexandra informed "It gives you anything that your Faith and Will desires."
"Wait, Is this even real?"
"Yes. And we advise you search for it before these Desperate Measures become more desperate." Alexandra, Elyon and Almiara said in unison. They all sighed as they left Vasilissa to gather her thoughts.
She sighed as she was left alone in the cold balcony. Staring at the cold and endless galaxy of stars lazily glimmering in the sky.
