Vasilissa greeted the cadets as they enetered quietly in the Citadels Palace. Alongside was Harold.

''They sure look like a couple, Right Hera?"  One of the maid servants giggled in amusement

"Yes Mum! How delightful this two monarchs are to watch!" The maid's daughter squealed in delight.

Harold smiled at the maidservants gaping and giggling amongst them. As his cadets arrived safely from the Forrest of Lagoons that borders Kent from other countries. His smile widden as Commander John arrived with the final wave of cadets.

"Good to see you alive and well, Your Majesty." Commander John greeted as he dismouted his stallion

"Good to see you too, Commander. How are the brigade efforts?" Both engaged into a mutual stare

"They ran smoothly, Your Majesty."

"Ah! Excellent"

As both men walked to the entrance of the Palace, Commander John playfully nudged Harold's arm

"I heard you're preeetttyyy hooked up with Her Highness here."

Harold heartily laughed. "No I'm not. Who in Gods name told that to you?"

"Of course, The messengers you sent. They tell me that you are smitten with her" John laughed. As both men narrowed their eyes to the woman of their conversation.

As Vasilissa was secretly eavesdroping and eyeing the two men. She also enjoyed the endless tales of the cadets. She tried to remember the last time she ever set foot outside the Citadel.

"I'm not smitten." Harold virgorously defended.

John released another round of laughther. "I doubt that. And you haven't been that smitten since Princess Raleigh."

Harold stoped dead on his tracks.

"I-I'm sorry, Your Majesty." John bowed his head.

Harold was in lack of words. As he never spoke in the moments later. As they reached the Dinning Hall, His mind jumbled to remember their journey. They would be leaving today.

This morning, He marched quietly to Vasilissa's room. He wanted to escort her to fetch and guide the incomming cadets of his. As he reached her wing, he saw the newly appointed Grand Elder Elderyn. With his usual expression, He muttered a few stiff greetings and brushed off.

Knocking, the door cracked open. Vasilissa, clad in her blue gown. Narrowed her sights to Harold

"A delightful morning. Harold." She smiled. Neatly packing her stuff for the journey.

"Same to you. Vasilissa. I'm glad we're on first name basis now."

"I am too." She is? "It gets tiring to say 'King' everytime."

Harold laughed and moved towards Vasilissa.

"You look wonderful today."

Vasilissa blushed instantly. Sliding her hair to her ear. She fixed Harold's robe, straighting it.

"Shall we?"

Harold pulled himself together. As he took his chair besides Vasilissa. As she heartily laughed with his cadets.

Oh. How she ressembled Raleigh. Her smile, the feisty attitude. Her movements. Her judgements.

And her scent.

But I said farewell to Raleigh a long time ago.

And I don't want to reminisce about that memory.

What's important is here and right now.

A/N : Wondering who's Raleigh? You'll find her out soon. This character is actually my Bestie,raleigh_hazz and that character will be featured soon. (In a flashback tho.)
