The beautiful girl--lady neared him. Smiling.
"Raleigh? How... How could this be?" Harold stuttered. "You're dead!"
"Oh, Harold." Raleigh carressed Harold's cheeks. "I missed you."
"I missed you too."
And as if there was a shower of stars surrounding them as they locked their lips together. And vanished.
Harold
I unlocked my lips from her. She looked at me, smiling.
In the other way, I looked confused. Everywhere was a fusion of gold and white.
"Welcome to the City of Spirits!" A butler announced. Bowing , he greeted us with utmost respect. "Names please?"
"Princess Raleigh and Harold." She said with pride. She whispered something and the butler laughed heartily.
"Of course, Your Highness!"
The butler happily skipped to the Grand door and creaked it open for us.
As Raleigh dragged me happily inside the room--er... ballroom.
"Raleigh! Your back!" One young voice rang across the room.
"My! Lea and Audrey!" Raleigh laughed and patted the twin-like girls. " Im so glad to see you both again!"
After the shower of hugs and kisses. Lea pointed at me. Her twin (I guess) spoke. "Oh! Lea asks who is that buff man you came in with."
"Oh. This is Harold." Raleigh smiled with pride
"So you're the one Raleigh always talked about." Audrey smiled as Lea inaudibly laughed.
I looked at Lea then switched my gaze to Raleigh. "Oh. I forgot to introduce these lovely twins."
"This is Audrey." Raleigh shifted and placed her hand on the other girl. "This is Lea. She's mute and only Audrey knows what she wants to say"
"How is that possible?" I inquired.
"Possibly the gift of the--" Raleigh was cut off by blazing trumpets.
"They're here!" Audrey squeled in delight. Lea laughed inaudibly again.
"Announcing. The Supreme Abbot of the Spirits, Empress Vasilissa!"
Harold stood dumbfounded. But with Raleigh, He kept himself from rushing to Vasilissa.
"Come on Harold! The Supreme Abbot must know you've arrived." Raleigh tugged his arm playfully whislist dragging him across the ballroom.
In the thrones, The Supreme Abbot was talking to one of the soldiers.
"Start closing the gates to the Mortal Realm in 3 Abths." I heard her instruct. As they both leaned to sepperate ways, I could see Raleigh break down to a bow.
"Your Excellency." She started. ".This is Harold, the one you sent for."
"My!" Vasilissa stood from her throne, Quickly shuffling her grand attire. "Nice to meet you, Harold."
"We... We have met before... Right?" I started.
"Oh.. I'm afraid not. Though I heard from my clairvoyant that you met my grandaughter.."
Vasilissa? But... This is Vasilissa... Right?
"Excuse me... But... What do you mean by Grand Daughter?" I snickered. "You're playing weird tricks with me Vas."
After I blew off that statement. I could see Vasilissa's face with distaste.
"I have invited you to be my guest. Then you disrespect me. I see to it that you're no longer worthy of--" Vasilissa (er.. no... Grand Abbot)
"No! Your Greatness... Uh.. Harold was playing tricks ... He has quite the humour." Raleigh laughed nervously.
"Is that so?" The Grand Abbot's eyebrow raised.
"Dinner is Served."
