--------- Episode 03 --------
Another week had gone by like a fast flash, Arthur working Merlin while he helped Gaius as Quinn made sure to try and avoid Arthur as much as possible, so she could get rid of the feeling she had started to gather with the Prince.
Gaius and Merlin look over corpse in the street, while Quinn grunted behind them with a sore neck, after falling asleep on the wrong side of the bed she was tired and hurting. "Aren't you sacred?" Merlin asked, chuckling at his sister who grumbled when she tripped. "Of what?" Gaius asked with a frown, "That you might catch whatever it is." Quinn cleared up his question with a sigh. "I'm the court physician, Merlin. This is part of my job. Most of the time there's nothing really to be scared of." Gaius turns over corps to reveal white skinned, white eyed face.
"You were saying?" Both Quinn and Merlin gave him a pointed look, "People mustn't see this. They'll panic." Merlin grabbed a blanket before covering it up. Merlin and Gaius wheel the body over the castle drawbridge, while Quinn followed behind. Gwen approaches carrying the flowers she had at home, "What are you doing?" She asked sending them a strange look, she has been doing her best to keep an eye on them. Mostly Quinn, she wanted to see if she could find something to ruin her budding relationship with Arthur. "Er...just moving something." Quinn rolled her eyes at his lame excuse. "Looks heavy." Gwen commented with a smile, "Er, it's nothing really. Er...someone got you flowers?" Merlin changed the subject quickly, "Oh! No. *giggle* Would you like one? A purple one. Purple suits you. Not that I'm saying red doesn't suit you."
Gwen hands him a purple flower and Quinn a blue one with a small smirk, "Thanks. Well, er..." Merlin sticks the flower in his scarf, as Quinn puts it in her hair. "Aww." Gwen smiled brightly at them as she got ready to leave, "Er...see you." Merlin blushed as Quinn smirked at him. "Bye." Quinn sing song voiced her with a smile, she was happy Gwen was finally warming up her. Maybe they could be friends after all.

Merlin and Gaius looking at body with magnifying glass, as Quinn twirled the flower with her fingers as she looked out the window. "I've never seen anything like this before." Gauis grunted, interrupting her thoughts, "Do you think it could be some kind of plague?" Quinn asked as she slipped the flower back in her hair, "No. I fear that something like this could never come from nature. But who has this kind of power?" Gauis frowns and shakes his head sadly, "You think it's caused by magic?" Merlin asked with a frown, "Merlin!" Quinn opens door before Arthur can come in and see the body.
"Erm...I'm on my way. Sorry I'm late." Merlin rushes up to the door, "Don't worry. I'm getting used to it." Arthur furrows his eyebrows when he sees the flower in Quinn's hair, before he starts to glare with jealousy. "Oh, er...Gwen, she gave it to me." Quinn mumbled with a blush at Arthur's jealous reaction. "Tell Gaius my father wants to see him now." Arthur seemed happier, knowing a guy didn't give her the flower. "Okay." Merlin closes the door, glancing at his sister who was blushing up a storm.
