Merlin walks toward the woods with an axe, "Merlin! Where are you going with that thing?" Will asks his friend as he follows him. "What does it look like? We need wood." Merlin insisted, "We both know that you don't need an axe to fell a tree." Will raised an eyebrow watching as Merlin paused. "And I remember the trouble it got me into. I nearly flattened Old Man Simmons." Merlin explained with a glare."Ha. Yeah, well, he deserved it, stupid old crow." Will chuckled at the memory, he had a lot of good memories with them. "Mmm. He never did like me anyway." Merlin shrugged it off. "Well, even less after that." He chuckles again, "Why are you being like this?" Merlin asked again as Will sighs, "You know why. Why did you leave?" Will question back snarky, "It wasn't what I wanted. My mother was worried. When she found out you knew, she was so angry."
"I wouldn't've told anyone."
"Well, I know you wouldn't."
"You'd be able to defeat Kanen on your own, wouldn't you?"
"I'm not sure. Maybe."
"Well, so what's stopping you? So what if Arthur finds out?" Will snapped irritated, of course he cared for the siblings but he just couldn't get over the fact that Quinn and Arthur loved each other. "I don't expect you to understand." Merlin sighed with an eye roll, "Try me." Will scoffed back, "One day Arthur will be a great king, but he needs my help. And if anyone ever found out about my powers, I'd have to leave Camelot for good."
"Are you telling me you'd rather keep your magic a secret for Arthur's sake than use it to protect your friends and family?"

Arthur trains the village men, "I won't be able to teach you everything there is to know about fighting with a sword, but you can learn the basics: the stance, how to parry a blow, how to land your own. On my count! One! Two! Three! Four! Now, you may have to watch for the feint. So, keep your feet moving, and only stay in range long enough to land your blow. And again. One! Two! Three! Four!" Quinn, Morgana and Gwen watch the training as they sharpen swords. "One! Two! Three! Four!"
Morgana leans close to Gwen as she watched Quinn watch Arthur. "There is no way they're going to be able to hold Kanen off." She tells Gwen lowly, not trying to be rude but definitely wanting to be truthful with her maidservant. "Men aren't the only ones who can fight." Gwen muttered, glaring at Quinn who grabbed a towel walking towards Arthur as he continued. "Again. One! Two! Three! Matthew. I want you to organise sentry duty to keep an eye out for Kanen and his men."
"Be glad to."
"If there's any sign of attack, I want you to ride straight back here. I don't want you fighting all on your own."
"Ha-ha." He nods as Arthur walks towards Quinn giving her a big smile and kiss on the cheek taking the towel.
