A few hours later, Merlin and Quinn had made their way into Arthur's chambers. Arthur is putting on his boots in his chambers, soon finding a hole in one of them. "That... rat! It's eaten through my boot, look at it!" Quinn let out a snort, quickly looking away when Arthur spins to face her. "I guess the rat must be as hungry as the rest of us!." Merlin comments, "You think this is funny?" Arthur snaps looking between the siblings who made eye contact. "Moderately." The spoke together with smirks causing Arthur to growl in annoyance. "Get it mended. Find that rat." He hissed towards Merlin who nodded while Quinn rolled her eyes. "Have you given any more thought to what Anhora said last night?" Merlin asked as they started their search for the rat. "Ah, well, he may have escaped last night, but at least we now know who we're looking for. I told my father I'll find this Anhora and put an end to it.""What if he was telling the truth about the curse?" Quinn asked looking up at the man she loved, he frowned looking back in slight disbelief and hurt at her suggestion. "You think I'm responsible for bringing suffering upon my own people?" He asked, she immediately rushed forward taking a seat next to him and grabbing his hand. "No, not deliberately." She insisted gently as Merlin sighed, "When you killed the unicorn, I saw Anhora in the forest." He spoke up causing them to look towards him. "Why didn't you say anything?" Arthur asked with a frown towards his friend. "It was just for a second, and then he disappeared. I didn't even...well, I-I thought I was seeing things. But he was definitely there." Merlin half heartedly explained with a wince as Quinn glared at him.
"That doesn't actually prove anything." Arthur scoffed as he stood up, Quinn frowned watching him. "Doesn't it make you think he might be telling the truth?" She asked causing him to spin towards her with a glare, "Because he was skulking about in the forest? That makes me trust him even less." He snipped causing her to stand up and place her hands on her hips. "Why would Anhora appear in Camelot, and then lie to you?" She insisted, he hesitated before rolling his eyes. "We had him cornered. He was trying to talk his way out of it by blaming me." Quinn growled in annoyance, "Arthur, he can disappear into thin air. He didn't have to talk his way out of anything." She snapped angrily, "My father has warned me about sorcerers like him. They will not rest until our kingdom is destroyed." He was oblivious! He just couldn't see the truth even if it punched him in the face.
"Well, I believe he's telling the truth."
"Then you're a fool. You cannot trust a single word a sorcerer says. You'd do well to remember that. Now, I think I've figured out what Anhora's next move is going to be, and when he makes it, we're going to be waiting." Merlin looked towards Quinn who looked down, they both knew he wasn't ready. She wanted to be open, an tell him all about her. The real her. To bad he was to simple minded, but what would that mean for them?

It was dark out, Merlin leans against a pillar near the grain store with his eyes closed, smacking his lips. Arthur hits him with a broom, causing him to jump. "Don't you worry about keeping watch, Merlin. You just make yourself comfortable." Merlin sighs, "Quinn's asleep, your not bothering her." Merlin pointed out causing Arthur to pause, he turned to look down at Quinn who was passed out on his lap. He gave a small smile, brushing his hand through her hair as Merlin groaned and smacks his lips, "Stop smacking your lips. It's annoying." Arthur snaps trying to stay quiet as to not wake Quinn. "I'm thirsty." The Wizard groaned causing Arthur to roll his eyes. "We're all thirsty, Merlin." Merlin sighs, Arthur paused as his ears picked up on a noise. He rushed to shake Quinn awake, "Pst! Someone's coming." Arthur draws his sword, moving away as Merlin follows him into the grain store. Quinn is still trying to wake up as they see the intruder's silhouette.
