All of the pain went flowing back. Akiyo grabbed his book then hid his eyes in it,then small tears started forming. He hated how him and Andrei were best friends in the real world. And he hated the way he stole his girlfriend from him.
Akiyo always loved the girl. It's real,because they were in a relationship for 1 year and a half. But the girl turned his marriage proposal down and chose Andrei instead. Everything changed since that day. His whole world shattered to pieces,he wasn't able to be happy and cheerful like he usually was. Who wouldn't ? His bestfriend betrayed him and the one he loved turned him down. It took away all the hyper Akiyo back then,and it turned him to the guy he is now. Rude,turning people down,refusing to make friends again,and reading a book. All he thought was everyone would just betray him like Andrei did and only books can understand him. Because books can bring him to something different.
"There's an empty seat beside Akahana. Maybe you can take that seat." Stein said. Andrei gave a nod,then went and sat beside her. Akahana gave him a smile,then introduced and chattered away.
Akiyo glared at them secretly. No,at him. He felt the urge to strangle him to death,but he can't. It took him a lot of self control not to.
Before he even noticed it,the bell rang. "Hey,Akiyo. Want to research with me in the library for the assignment ?" She smiled. Akiyo looked at her,blinking. "There's an assignment ?" He looked confused. He wasn't focused. All he thought of was his anger at Andrei.
"Yeah." Akahana said. "Well… It's still to early so… If you don't want to,it's fine." She shrugged. Andrei stood up,smiling. "Want me to join you instead ? I also wanna see how the library looks like." He said,smiling. Akahana looked at him,then smiled back. "Sure !"
That made the flames turn to a wildfire. His anger increased. "Is he planning to take Akahana now ?!" He thought angrily. Akiyo stood up,holding an angered expression. "No. I'm going with you." He said. Akahana looked at him,turning to Andrei and back at Akiyo. "Well… Andrei's a transfer so maybe it'll be fun to bring him with us also." She shrugged,starting to walk. "Follow after me,you two !" She laughed.
Andrei shoved his hands in his pockets,then turned to Akiyo. He smiled teasingly,before ruffling his hair slightly. "I have to admit,she's cute." He shrugged. Akiyo's hands balled up to fists. "Back off of my meister." He grumbled. Andrei chuckled. "Easy peasy,Mr. White world." He smirked. Yep,Akiyo's name meant white world in japanese.
"Why are you even here,anyway ? I'm only here to take Akahana back to the real world. Do you have a mission too ?" Akiyo glared as he spoke. Andrei laughed. "Of course. Morpheus told me to do a mission for him." He chuckled,starting to walk. Akiyo's fists clenched. "What mission…" He grumbled. Andrei stopped,turned to him,and smiled.
"My mission is to abort your mission,Akiyo Hoshi."
