Maka went over to them. Akahana smiled. "Good morning,Maka." She casually replied. Akiyo just gave a nod,before looking back to his book. Soul followed,holding his toothy grin. "Oi. Akiyo. That move against the clown was cool." He smirked,shoving his hands in his pockets. Akiyo looked up from his book,looking at him. "What move ?"
"Yeah. Stepping up for your meister and refusing that offer ?"
Maka agreed. Akiyo's eyes shot wide. "You were watching ?"
"Yep. In the Death room. Even Blackstar and the others." Soul smirked. Akahana blinked,looking at Akiyo. "What offer ?"
Akiyo looked away shyly. "None of your business." He grumbled,making Soul chuckle. "Anyways,Kid's planning a sleepover for everyone for completing your first mission. It was Patty's idea so you two could come over." He informed. "A sleepover on a monday ?" Akiyo blinked. Soul laughed. "Yeah. Kid said he can take his dad to excuse us." He smirked,before patting Maka's head. Maka laughed,turning around with Soul and starting to walk. "See ya both later !"
"Are we going ?" Akahana looked at Akiyo,doing her pleading—yet cute (according to Akiyo)—face. Akiyo looked at her,his face holding a plain expression. "No. I don't like sleepovers."
"Please ? Come on ! Just this once !" Akahana pleaded,her face leaning in closer and still using her pleading face. You know,puppy dog face ? That pout with wide her brown eyes,and a small whine.
Akiyo's face started turning to an annoyed one. "Stop that face..." He grumbled. "No ! Not until you say we'll go to that sleepover !" She crossed her fingers,leaning closer with that face. "Pleeeeeease ?"
Akiyo backed his face away,before gritting his teeth and sighing. He looked away,holding an irritated face. "Fine…" He grumbled. Akahana grinned,jumping up and down. "Yay !" She cheered. "Let's go ! There's still 20 minutes before the bell so we can still buy food !" She grabbed his hand,then started running. "O-oi,wait a—"
He was cut off as Akahana dragged him. He had no choice but to run after her,sighing in defeat.
Akahana went in line with him. Akiyo was behind her of course. Akahana was counting her money when…
"Welp…" She sighed. She only had 13 dollais in her wallet,but the large pastry with icing that captured her eye was 15 dollars. She sighed,before turning around to look at Akiyo,who was reading a book.
"Oi. Have extra 2 dollars ?"
Akahana asked. Akiyo looked at her. "Why ?" He asked back. Akahana pouted. "My money's not enough for that pastry over there." She mumbled. Akiyo scoffed. "Then buy something different." He answered. Akahana blinked,before grinning.
"Please ?" She whined,doing her specialty. Just like earlier,her eyes were wider and the pout was more improved. Akiyo ignored her for a minute,before taking an accidental glance at her. He blinked,then looked away. "Not again…"
"Come on ! I want it !" She pleaded. Akiyo scratched his head then sighed in defeat,grabbing his wallet and taking two dollars. He gave it to her,rolling his eyes. "There. Now stop it." He grumbled. "Yay !" Akahana cheered,taking it. "Thank you !" She laughed,before going back to her line. Akiyo sighed.
"Why the hell can't I resist that freaking face…"
