Akiyo smiled. He made a bright one,with his eyes shaped like a rainbow and his head tilted slightly to the side.
"You're safe."
Akahana dropped the basket then ran to him,hugging him tightly. "Don't do that again ! You made me feel sad and guilty !" She yelled,burrying her face in his chest. Akiyo blinked,not expecting her to hug him.
But minutes later,he slightly chuckled,placing his arms around her. "Nah. It was worth it." He shrugged.
But what confused him was… She didn't move. She was still hugging him tightly,her back rising and falling as she inhaled and exhaled. Soon,he felt his chest getting kind of wet,making him blink.
"Oi… Don't tell me you're crying." He laughed,pulling away and looking at her. Akahana looked down,covering her face with her hands and sobbing. "I'm sorry ! I'm sorry I left you alone,I'm sorry cause I made you feel miserable,I'm sorry for everything ! If it wasn't for me you didn't have to protect me an—"
Akiyo sighed,grabbing her wrists and moving her hands from her hand. Akahana looked at him,small tears still in her eyes. Akiyo smiled,before leaning in and giving a kiss.
Akahana's eyes shot wide. She was surprised,but still,it made her happy.
Akiyo pulled away after seconds,then laughed. "There. Now you stopped talking." He smiled,using his hand to wipe her remaining tears off.
"Didn't I tell you I hate seeing you cry ? You're naughty,aren't you ?" He smirked. Akahana slightly laughed. "Sorry."
Akiyo smiled. "So… When I said I love you,you didn't answer. So I'll do it again." He shrugged,before adjusting slightly. Akahana sighed. "What if I tell the doctor about you waking up first ?"
Akiyo pouted. "It can wait." He crossed his arms. Akahana looked at him,then slightly giggled. "Fine."
Akiyo smiled. Well,it was awkward cause he's smiling a lot now than before. But it's cute,so Akahana can't help to smile also when he does.
"So… Do you also love me back or…" Akiyo mumbled,looking away with a slight blush. Akahana blinked,then smiled. "Would I wait this long if I don't ?"
Akiyo blinked,then gasped slightly. He smiled widely,then grinned. "Okay ! I'll start courting you tomorrow." He smirked,grabbing the remote for the tv in the room. Akahana blinked. "Court…?"
"Yeah. I'll go to school tomorrow and since I was gone for some time,I'll tell them everything we went through." He grinned. "Except that it was in an Anime world you love."
Akahana blushed,rolling her eyes. "You don't have to…"
"Well,I want to." Akiyo laughed,turning the tv on.
Akahana looked at it,then gasped. They were right in timing,cause Soul Eater was on roll and it was the first episode.
She looked at Akiyo,expecting him to switch the channel. But instead,Akiyo laid down,sighing in content. "Maka and Soul looks badass in this. Pretty far from when I met them." He chuckled. Akahana looked at him,surprised. "You won't switch channels ?"
"Of course. It's a friend of ours on tv. They just don't remember us though." Akiyo shrugged. Akahana stared at him for a while. "I thought he said he hates anime !"
Akiyo turned to her,then smiled. "So… Wanna start watching Soul Eater with me ?"
Akahana blinked for a while,then smiled. She nodded,looking back at the tv. "Sure. Then I'll let you read the manga." She giggled. Akiyo laughed.
"No spoilers,okay ?" He took her hand and entertwined it with his fingers. Akahana was startled at first,but she just laughed and held his hand.
"Sure. No spoilers."
