in the end, does everything really work out?
kim taehyung
after what felt like years to taehyung, the noise his second period class was making died down as the teacher and what seemed like a new kid walked into the classroom. the teacher glared at the class for being too loud, then smiled welcomely at their new student. taehyung didn't pay much attention to anything that was happening, only his collector comics which were in a neat pile on the corner of his desk. he wasn't the biggest fan of reading, and having loud colours and fewer words helped him a lot. plus, he could also brag about being able to even own all these comics.
he had been zoned out for so long that he didn't even realize the teacher calling his name.
"taehyung! taehyung!" the teacher called across the classroom.
"y-yes, sir?" taehyung stuttered out nervously, slowly going back into reality.
"answer the question on the board, and do not daydream in my classroom again! i'll grab you by the collar and drag your little ass to the principals office if i see that again," the teacher threatened, which was definitely a wake up call to taehyung.
"i-i'm sorry, sir. i promise you, it won't happen again," taehyung bowed his head in shame, awkwardly walking to the front of the classroom.
he took a good look at the problem on the board, and since he's a smartass, he wrote everything out perfectly.
everyone sat in awe as they watched numbers appear on the board faster than they could process.
the equation seemed a bit strange, and definitely more difficult, but taehyung got the right answer nonetheless.
"that.. was.. amazing? kim taehyung, you might as well become the teacher," the man chuckled.
"thank you," taehyung chuckled back, sitting back down in his chair. "but i've got bigger dreams."
the new kid smiled fondly at him, taehyung not realizing as he was looking at the front of the room.
the rest of second period was a blur to taehyung, as he had managed to zone out a second time.
