"Kensley." Keghan greeted me as I stepped out of my car.

"Hey Keghan." I said, sliding out of my car.

"So, about earlier, the whole talking in private thing?" He asked gently.

"Yeah, sure."

"Is uh - Adam and Mike home?" He asked softly, stopping before my front door.

"Yeah, is that a problem?" I asked, turning back to look at him.

"I wanted to talk to you in private, any chance we can go to your room?"

I froze and quickly turned back to my door. "I guess Keghan, let's go."

"Hey," Keghan grabbed my arm and twirled me around, "don't. Hey, what's wrong?" He asked.

I put my hand up on his chest, an attempt to put some space between us. "Nothing is wrong."

"Tell me." He whispered, stroking my face. "What's wrong?"

I sighed and pushed away from him, I really needed space from him if I wanted to think strait. "You said you wanted to go to my room." I said quietly after a moment.

"Kensley, listen. I promised I wouldn't take advantage of you. And that promise holds, I just want to talk to you. I just want to spend some time with you." Keghan explained pulling me back to him.

"Okay, okay." I murmered letting myself relax into his arms. "Let's go." I tugged on his arm and he followed me into my house.

I led him up into my room and closed the door with my heel behind me. Keghan automatically made his way over to my radio. "Do you have like an obsession with radios or something?" I laughed settling myself at my desk.

"Well yes, I love music. And I always listen to human songs. They are deeper than the Faes music." He murmered, fiddling with my radio.

Static cracked through the speakers and a song began. Soft piano floated through the speakers and I instantly picked my head up. "I love this song." I smiled and stood.

"Really?" Keghan cocked his head for a moment, listening to the music. "Oh. I've heard this song before, what's it called again?" Keghan murmered, turning his blue eyes on me.

"Fall for you." I smiled up at him.

"I like this song." Keghan smiled, sitting down where he was to listen.

"'Because tonight will be the the night that I will fall for you over again don't make me change my mind, I won't live to see another day I swear it's true.'" I sang, forgetting about Keghan sitting a few feet away.

"This is a sad song Kensley. Why do you like it so much?" Keghan asked once I took a break.

"I like sad songs, there's just alot of sad things in my life. It's my thing." I shrugged.

"This song, what is it about?"

"Did you listen to the very beggining?" I asked him, settling down next to him.

"Yes, I did." Keghan nodded.

"The words, 'the best thing about tonight is we're not fighting could it be that we have been this way before I know you think that I'm not trying I know you're wearing thin down to the core.' The man is obviously used to fighting, yes. That's obvious. But deeper he acually cares about how she is feeling, but it seems she doesn't let him in anymore. Like their relationship is a lost cause now. I don't know, it just sometimes seems like that was my mother and father's relationship. I don't remember alot, because I was a little girl, but Adam tells me stories of how they fought. And then sometimes they wouldn't fight, and it would be perfectly calm in our house. Those were the great nights. But I know my father loved her, but I'm not sure about my mother, if she truly loved my father, wouldn't she have remembered?" I looked up at Keghan after my rant.
