Drama was so fun! We played loads of games and did some improvisation tasks. I made a new friend, he's called Terrance. He's such a delight to be around. Drama has got to be my favourite lesson. I had lunch with Virgil and Joan, I spent my study period with Talyn and played charades with Terrance for the rest of the afternoon! My first day was so fun and I couldn't have asked for a better time. I made so many new friends and have so much support! Joan is so supportive, Talyn is clever and has offered to help me to catch up in science, Terrance cheers me up and Virgil... Virgil is the reason I met all these people. He allowed me to join his friendship group and welcomed me. Yeah, he may not speak an awful lot and might be extremely anxious but he is so lovely...

Hometime. I decided to walk home and avoid confrontation with Marcus on the bus. Virgil and Terrance offered to walk me home. "So you enjoyed your first day, yes?" spoke Terrance chirpily.

"Of course! It's been amazing. Y'know, out of all the schools I've been to, this one has been the best. I think I've fit in pretty well". A smile was beaming off my face.

Terrance stopped in his tracks. I turned to face him out of curiosity of his sudden halt. He put his hands around me and Virgil and pulled us both into a tight hug. Terrance squeezed us both strongly. I looked towards Virgil to see his face squashed into mine and Terrance's. He smiled widely and let go. I jokingly gasped for air and we all began to chuckle. "Nice to meet you [F/N]! See you tomorrow!" I have a delightful smile back. He leaned into Virgil's ear and whispered something which made Virgil's eyes widen. The purple haired teen then directed his eyes to the ground.

I waved as Terrance walked off down the side street. Just me and Virgil on our way home. There was a little silence between us before I broke it. "So what did Terrance say?" I cheerfully questioned. He widened his eyes once more before muttering "Doesn't matter..."

I decided to leave it at that and focused on my path home. We almost reached home when I stopped and waited for Virgil to turn. "Can I have your Snapchat?"

"My... my Snapchat? What for?" He asked, puzzled.

"Well, we're friends now! We should be able to talk to one another!"

He then mumbled, "I don't think that's a good idea. I'm not really social... I... Erm..." He began to stutter.

I tilted my head in confusion then it clicked - "You don't have Snapchat! Sorry! I'll just get your number then." I beamed a smile while he sighed. I held my phone out with a new contact template open for him to enter his details.

"I do have Snapchat by the way [F/N]... I just don't... I just post weird stuff there... That's all."

I laughed lightly which made him smile a little. He handed me my phone back and I called his number to give him my number. He picked up the call and spoke "Hello. This is Virgil. What do you want."

I laughed once more and watched him realise it was me ringing him. He threw his fringe over his eyes in embarrassment. "Come on, you silly goose," I said as I made him follow behind me.

I got to my porch before turning to him. "Thanks for walking me home Virgil. It means a lot." I pulled him into a warm embrace and smiled over his shoulder. I felt his hands slowly settle themselves on my back and we stayed in the hug for a few seconds before breaking. I smiled and waved at him before walking into my house. He strolled off, a grin on his face.
