I woke up to Reese wrapped around me, snoring softly in my ear. I snuggled into his chest, breathing in his masculine scent that was distinctly him.  As he stirred, I felt his erection press against my leg.  His eyelashes fluttered open and he smiled down at me. "How long have you been up?" he asked eyeing me.

"Just a few minutes," I answered wrapping my legs around him and pulling him close to me. I kissed him like my life depended on it and ground myself against his straining erection. He hiked my leg up over his hip and I felt his fingers at my opening. I was soaking wet for him already and he had barely touched me. He roughly grabbed my hip with one hand and guided himself into me with the other. I moaned loudly when he hit the back of me, arching my back into him. I wanted him deeper. I wanted to take all that he could give. I just wanted more. "More" I whispered. "Please."

That's all it took, it was like I had flipped a switch. He flipped me over on my back and hooked my leg over his shoulder, driving into me, his fingers still painfully gripping my hip. I liked the pain. I wanted more of it. "Harder Reese," A soft plea from my lips. He growled softly, but complied, slamming into me over and over. I was so close, I could feel my orgasm building quickly, then he licked his thumb and brought it down to massage my clit, giving me what I needed to fall right over the edge. I screamed his name over and over as my orgasm ripped through me and Reese continued to pound into me relentlessly a few more times before releasing his own orgasm. I may have blacked out for a minute, because when I came back to reality, Reese was spooning me and softly stroking my hair.

It was the contrast in him that I knew I could fall in love with, the way he could go from fucking me hard to tenderly caressing me. It was that moment I realized I could really fall for Reese Logan and that was a fucking problem.

As our breathing slowed, I could feel myself withdraw. I needed distance. I needed to think. I needed him to leave.

This was exactly why I didn't date. It was complicated and messy. I needed my space, my life, my work. He had already spent the entire weekend keeping me from my work, and it had to stop now. I had to get to the office, I had projections to finish for the board meeting next week. I could not let a guy get me off track, no matter how hot he was, or how great the sex happened to be.

I rolled to face him and placed my hand on his chest. I could see the happiness in his eyes, and after he had just been so tender, I couldn't kick him out. "I can't think of a better way to wake up," he said smiling at me. I smirked, "I can think of worse ways."

He laughed and pulled me to him. "So, what if we get dressed and I take you to brunch beautiful." I shook my head. "I really have to get some work done. I have a big board meeting next week and I still have a ton of work to do to prepare." For just a second, I could see the disappointment on his face before he covered it up quickly by standing up, grabbing his boxers and slipping them on. "Well, I better get out of here then." He slipped his shirt on and searched the room for his jeans, finding them laying over a chair and slipped them on.

I just sat there and watched him. I didn't want him to go, but he had to. Whatever this was we were doing, it had to stop. He could be an incredibly sweet guy, and the sex was incredible, but I couldn't let him distract me from the important things in my life.

He leaned down and kissed me on my cheek, before turning around and walking out my bedroom door without another word. He must have seen it on my face. I was shutting down and he was just going to walk away. A minute later I heard the door to my apartment shut. It was easier this way. I was glad he wasn't fighting me. I didn't want him to convince me this could work, that we'd figure it out. I was an adult and things like this never work out.
