Serena agreed to move in with me the night after I asked her.

"I actually have something else to tell you," she said after telling me the good news.  I laughed and kissed her lips softly, "what could be better than that?"

She chuckled shyly, "Well, maybe not better news for you, but good news for me."

"Alright, what is it?"

"I decided to quit the bank and start my own consulting business.  Erica is going to come with me.  I'm going to give my notice next week!"

I could tell she was so happy about her decision and I was incredibly happy for her.  "That's an amazing opportunity.  I'm so happy for you, baby.  Let's celebrate!"

I went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of Dom Perignon.  I poured two glasses and handed one to Serena.  "To you.  Being your own boss.  Moving on.  And to us... moving in!"

We clinked glasses and sipped the champagne.

"So, it sounds like you're going to be pretty busy for a while."

She nodded, "Yeah, but I'll be doing it for the right reasons and my schedule will be a little more flexible. I'll be able to work from anywhere.  I was actually thinking maybe we could take a vacation in a few weeks?  I'll have to wok some during because I wouldn't feel right leaving everything on Erica, but it's been forever since I've had a vacation.  And you did promise to show me your beach house."

I set my champagne glass down and scooped her into my arms.  "Whatever you want, baby.  Just let me know when you want to leave and I'll have the housekeeper make sure it's ready."

I placed soft kisses down her neck as I started unbuttoning her shirt.  Her skin was always so smooth and soft and she always smelled like lilacs.  It had quickly become my favorite scent and I couldn't wait until my entire house smelled like her. "How about I hire movers to come this weekend?  I'll have them come to pack everything up, so all you have to do is mark what you want to go where."

She looked around suddenly, "What are we going to do with all my stuff?  You have plenty of furniture already."

I ran my nose down hers.  "It's up to you.  I'm not particularly attached to anything.  So if you want to bring your stuff and get rid of mine, that's fine.  Or if you would prefer... you could redecorate."

She smiled shyly, "Mmm... I like your place.  Maybe eventually I'll want to change some things, but for a while, I'll be too busy to redecorate.  Let's just leave my furniture there.  Maybe I'll sell it as is."

I smiled, "Whatever you want.  I'll take care of everything."

She responded by kissing me until things got a little hot and heavy then she got up and led me to the bedroom.
