Jimin woke up due to the light shining its way through the blinds of his window. He squinted his eyes and rubbed them, still not even half awake. He looked at the time and forced himself to get up his bed.
It was around 12:00pm in the afternoon and he had a break today due to the fact his muscles were aching. He was a bit upset he couldn't participate with the other members during the schedules but he knew staying home was best. He was feeling much better today and much more energized.
As he rose from the bed to get ready, he noticed something on his bedroom door. He walked over and ran a hand through his hair, seeing it was a piece of paper taped to the door.
Happy birthday, baby boy! We're going to have a little fun today; think you're up for the challenge?
Jimin smiled; it was a note from you. Who else would call him that nickname you've always called him?
All of these notes are hidden all around the house; kind of like a scavenger hunt. Once you find your last note, you'll get your present!
First things first: who is the person wiring you these? (If you don't know I'm going to kill you) anyways, who is the person and what reminds you the most about them?
Jimin laughed at your violent character, just imaging your cute pout when you say that. Jimin thought to himself, thinking the only thing that really reminds him of you was his own shirt that you would always wear.
Jimin made his way to his closet and went to look for his shirt— and soon, he found the shirt hanging in the closet with another note attached to it. Jimin sighed and smiled, taking the note from his shirt.
I looooove the way you smell; exactly like milk and honey. What's my favorite book?
Jimin chuckled. "That's easy, Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur." Jimin walked back into the bedroom and looked around for the book you've left him to read. He looked on the shelf with the stack of other books he's read.
He scanned over the covers and when he finally found the book he's been in search for, he took it out from the stack and saw a pink sticky note placed on the cover.
As short as you are, this hunt is short too! Go to the kitchen to find a surprise :)
Jimin rolled his eyes at your joke but wasted no time rushing over to the kitchen. Although he was still in his pajamas, he couldn't really care less at this point. As he made his way into the kitchen, there you stood by the table with a cake filled with candles.
You smiled as he made his way over and you clapped your hands, beginning to sing to him. Jimin's smile couldn't have become wider than it already was, feeling his cheeks ache and twitch from the intense grinning.
"Blow our the candles and make a wish!" You smiled, gesturing him towards the cake. Jimin stared at you and then at the cake, feeling pure euphoria that you planned this all out just for him. He felt his heart and love expand for you as he closed his eyes and blew out the candles.
Smoke filled the room as you clapped and cheered, fanning the smoke away. "What did you wish for?" You asked him, walking over to his side.
Jimin looked at you and his eyes filled with hearts as he reached to pull you close by the waist. He stared into your eyes with his soft, brown orbs giving you the chills yet warms you up at the same time. "Hm, you're a little nosy, aren't you?" Jimin joked.
You pout and wrapped your arms around his neck. "No, it's called being curious!"
Jimin grinned once again, his eyes glowing in pure delight. "Well, I'll tell you..." He leaned in close to your ear, his plump lips brushing against your ear as his arm wraps fully around your waist.
His breath hit your ear which made you gulp, caressing the back of his head with your fingertips. Jimin suddenly pulled back and smeared cake frosting on your cheek, a grin appearing on his face for the tenth time in an hour.
"That's what you get for calling me short!" Jimin said before letting you out of his arms and running away as you quickly ran after him while laughing happily.
"Come back here you brat!" You laughed as you continued chasing one another, filling the whole house with laughter and sweet cake-like kisses.
