"Is everything I prepared settled?" Taehyung asked, giving me the clipboard he had looked over. I nodded.
"Yes, I reserved an appointment with the CEO of the company you've requested," I said. "He shall arrive in an hour." I held the clipboard to my side as I watched Taehyung- or Mr. Kim, leaned back on his chair as his eyes closed. A sigh escaped his mouth, his adam's apple jumping when he swallowed.
I couldn't help being attracted to him. His whole existence was enough to bring any girl down to her knees. His presence was undeniably... sexy.
"I appreciate all you do, (Y/N). I don't know what I would've done without you," Taehyung said, his eyes still closed.
I shook my head. "This is all your great work. Give all the credits to yourself, sir."
He opened his eyes and turned his head to look my way. "I told you to stop that."
"Stop what?"
"Stop with that formality crap and just call me Taehyung," he said. "We're friends, right?"
Friends.
It was as if he wanted to shove the obvious in my face- of course we're friends! He's a friend that I find extremely attractive and think about all the time, not to mention that if I end up saying his name it'll end up tasting so sweet on my taste buds that I won't ever want to call him "sir" ever again... If that's what friends are, then yes, I guess we're friends.
I shook my head to him. "That wouldn't be appropriate for the business, sir."
Taehyung laughed, his voice smooth and deep. "Fine, how about calling me Daddy instead?"
My cheeks went red and my eyes went wide. "Excuse me-"
Taehyung laughed again, his eyes squinting closed and the outer part of his lips lifting upward. His box-smile was the most precious thing in the world. "I'm just teasing you."
I took in a breath, trying to calm my racing heart and burning skin. "Are we really friends...?"
Taehyung's eyes met mine. "Of course. We've worked together for a long time- even way before I became CEO. What is appropriate to me is to be friends."
I watched him and placed the clipboard back on the top of his desk. "Alright then, friend."
I walked around his large desk and stood besides him as he stared up at me from his chair, making me tower over his body. I leaned down to him, suddenly grabbing his head around my arm and placing him in a head lock. He squirmed in my grasp and tried to escape but I tightened my hold around him.
"Hey- ah!" he gasped. "What are you doing?!"
"Just being a friend," I replied. "This is what you get for teasing me, friend."
"Okay, okay- OKAY I GET IT." Taehyung said as he tapped out, making me release my hold around his head. He deserved that for teasing.
I stood straight and dusted my hands on my skirt. I heard Taehyung gasp for a breath- a bit exaggeratedly. "Geez, you've got some strength for a girl." I raised my eyebrows to him while grabbing the clipboard off from the desk. "What is that supposed to mean?"
"I-I mean- uh..." he stuttered. His eyes shifted downward and then to the side, his cheeks burning red.
I smiled slightly. "I'll see you at the meeting, sir."
I turned and headed towards the door but stopped when I heard Taehyung call out to me. "(Y/N)," he spoke. I turned my head, meeting his eyes once more.
