*Payton's P.O.V.*
I woke up feeling like I was about to explode I hopped out of bed running to the bathroom making it just in time to throw up. I felt someone pull my hair back and I knew it was Brantley I waited until I was sure I was do before sitting back and leaning on the wall.
"You feelin okay baby?" Brantley asked rubbing my back.
"I don't know." I said honestly. I wasn't sure if I felt bad or if it was morning sickness.
"You don't feel warm. Maybe it was the chocolate shake." Brantley said.
"Maybe. I'm gonna brush my teeth and come back to bed." I said standing up with the help of Brantley.
"Alright baby." Brantley said kissing the side of my head. When I saw him go back into the bedroom I sighed and leaned up against the counter putting my hands on my stomach.
"Can't you wait a little longer before you start making me sick?" I asked the little raisin growing in my belly. Dax was called peanut while I was pregnant with him. Well until I found out it was a boy then peanut turned to Dax. I brushed my teeth and headed back to bed. I snuggled up to an already sleeping Brantley and just laid there. How the hell do you tell a guy that you've only been with for a week that you're pregnant with his baby? How the hell do you tell a famous singer that you're pregnant with his baby? Ugh! Why now? Why couldn't it have been a month from now? To say I was excited would be a lie. I was worried but I had to keep it level since I was pregnant to much worry and stress can cause a miscarriage. To make it look not so bad I'm gonna make a doctors appointment when we get back to Georgia. I stayed awake a lot longer than I thought I did cause the next thing I knew the sun was shining through the blinds. I decided to go ahead and get out of bed. I got up and slipped on a pair of gym shorts, took Brantley's sweat shirt off, put on a sports bra, and put the sweatshirt back on. It was too early to start breakfast so I made a pot of coffee and poured myself a cup. I went outside and sat on the back porch and I was actually kind of bored.
"I know you can't hear me because you aren't even anything yet but you're gonna have a big brother who loves you, a daddy who I know is gonna spoil you rotten, and me your momma whose gonna stand beside you with whatever you decide to do in life." I said rubbing my flat stomach. That's one thing I do look forward too when I get bored I can talk to my belly and no one will look at me funny. The thoughts in my head are making me sound like a psycho. I don't talk to my stomach on a regular basis' for the record. Anyway enough self explanation. I sighed looking out over the backyard that looked into the woods. Nashville is nice but I'm a Georgia girl I like my red clay. After drinking that coffee I really needed to pee so I went and did my thing. Taking more tests in the process and seeing more double pink lines. Guess there really is someone in there. I walked out of the bathroom with my hand on my stomach.
"Morning mama." Dax said scaring the crap out of me.
"Morning Dax. You scared me." I said with one hand on my stomach and the other on my heart.
"Sorry. I didn't mean too." Dax said walking over and hugging me.
"It's okay baby." I said hugging him back.
"Why were you outside?" Dax asked looking at the open back door.
"I was just sitting out there drinking coffee." I said.
"Can I do that?" Dax asked.
"You can have juice and sit out there with me." I said knowing better than to give Dax coffee he'll be bouncing off the walls.
"Okay mama." Dax said following me into the kitchen. I got him a coffee cup and put apple juice in it. I know I shouldn't but I had a second cup of coffee. Dax and I went and sat on the back porch just looking out into the woods. I wonder how he would feel about being a big brother?
