(A/N: TIME JUMP! This is the Dierks Bentley Concert!)
I was putting the last of my stuff in my suitcase when I heard Dax running up the stairs.
"Uncle Kolby's here!" Dax yelled in our bedroom and ran back downstairs and I heard a loud thud followed by an "I'm okay!" I swear that boy is clumbsy. I felt two arms wrap around me so I turned around in them and was greeted by my ever so sexy boyfriend.
"Hello love." I said wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Hey baby. You ready for this weekend? Just you and me, alone." Brantley said before leaning in and giving me a kiss.
"Oh, I am ready. I get to be with my sexy boyfriend but get see my man crush preform on stage. Perfect weekend." I said smiling.
"It bothers me that you have a crush on Dierks." Brantley admitted.
"Awe, babe, don't let it bother you. I love you." I said and kissed him.
"I love you too." Brantley said after we broke our kiss.
"Y'all up here?" We heard Kolby yell from downstairs.
"Yeah!" We yell at the same time. Next thing you here is Kolby's loud boots on the steps.
"Are y'all gettin ready to leave?" Koldy asked leaning against the door frame of our bedroom.
"Tryin to get rid of us?" Brantley asked.
"Yes, actually I am. I want to stay up all night playing violent video games with my eight year old nephew." Kolby said being serious.
"Not too violent. We already had him try to fly off a back porch." I said reminding Kolby of that.
"Yeah, yeah." Kolby said waving it off.
"I'm serious, mister. Dax will tell me the truth." I said pointing a finger at Kolby.
"You've been extra momish lately. I don't like it." Kolby said scrunching up his face.
"You try living with Brantley and Dax and see if you don't go all mom too." I said grinning at Brantley.
"Not fair." Brantley said pointing a finger at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and he shook his head.
"Anyway, leave soon so we can get to playin video games and eating unhealthy foods." Kolby said before heading back down the stairs.
"Maybe we should have asked your mom to watch him." I said being slightly serious.
"Dax will be fine. Kolby may be a man child but he's responsible." Brantley said and right about then we hear something break and then Kolby yell, "It was just a plate!" I eyeballed Brantley and he sighed.
"Okay, tonight Kolby will watch him and I'll ask mama to watch him tomorrow night." Brantley said.
"That works for me." I said with a smile. I was about to pick my bag up when Brantley stopped me.
"Nope, no heavy lifting. It's bad on, bug." Brantley said with a smile.
"I'm not helpless yet. I can carry a suitcase." I said following Brantley down the stairs.
"I don't care, even if, you know, you still wouldn't have to carry it." Brantley said. He referred to Bug as 'you know' because in this house you never know who could be listening.
"You're hopeless." I said shaking my head.
"Nope, just know what I'm doin, darlin." Brantley said with a smirk. I shook my head and went to tell my precious son bye. All weekend is too long. I've never been away from him that long and it's going to suck.
