Brantley, Dax, and I made our way back to Georgia and all I could think about was moving into Brantley's house with him. It would be our home where we would raise our baby and Dax together. We might not be married and we might never get married but I know Brantley is who I wanna be with for the rest of my life. I'm certainly not going ot push him into doing anything he doesn't want to do. I personally don't even want to get married right now. I'm content with being Brantley's Girlfriend, Dax's mom, and the mother of our baby.
"What are you over there thinkin so hard about?" Brantley asked putting a hand on my knee.
"Just life." I said turning my head so I was looking at him.
"What about life?" Brantley asked glancing at me.
"How quickly it changed into something so good. Honestly the last thing I expected to happen when I moved to Jefferson was to fall in love, but it happened and I wouldn't change that for anything. I mean you're a great father and boyfriend. I just don't understand how I got so lucky." I said still looking at Brantley who would glance at me every so often.
"Maybe it's because you made me a bangin ass steak the first time I ever met you." Brantley said with a grin.
"Well in that case I guess my cooking got me somewhere in life." I said with a smile and Brantley chuckled.
"You were just you. You didn't hide from me or treat me like I was some big celebrity. You treated me like I was a normal person and I found that really attractive and the fact you trusted me so easily with Dax despite the fact that I look like I could rip someone's head off. You were just you and nothing is more attractive then that." Brantley said. Holy hell he opened up and actually spoke from the heart. Stupid horomones. I had tears running down my face. "Baby don't cry. That was a good thing." Brantley said rubbing my knee.
"Good tears. I promise." I said sniffling and pulling myself back together.
"You and them good tears drive me insane." Brantley said shaking his head.
"Hey it's not my fault you.." I paused and looked in the backseat to see Dax sleeping. "Impregnanted me." I said in a whisper just in case.
"Hey, it's take two people to do that. I did not act alone. You were my accomplice." Brantley said defending himself.
"But I only start the process. You finished it so there for it's on you." I said sticking my tongue out at him. Brantley chuckled and shook his head at me. He does that a lot but it doesn't bother me.
It took about another hour before we finally got back to Brantley's house. I was so tired and I just wanted to crawl in our bed and sleep till next week.
"Go ahead on up. I'll Dax and the rest can wait till tomorrow." Brantley said opening my door and helping me out of the truck.
"Alright babe." I said before placing a hand on Brantley's chest and kissing his cheek. I went ahead inside but something didn't feel right so I walked back out onto the porch.
"I told you to go ahead upstairs." Brantley said when he saw me on the porch.
"Something didn't feel right." I said rubbing my right arm with my left hand.
"What do you mean?" Brantley asked.
"I don't know. I just got an creepy feeling when I walked inside so I walked back out here." I explained.
"Alright. Well follow me inside. I'm sure it's nothing." Brantley said. I nodded and followed behind him keeping one hand on his back the whole time. I still had that creepy feeling like someone was watching me or something. I walked into Dax's room with Brantley and everything was normal in there me feeling all paranoid even checked in the closet just to be sure. Brantley and I kissed Dax goodnight and left his room. I was right besie Brantley the whole time with a protective hand laid on my stomach.
