"Sa'n ba tayo pupunta?" tanong ko kay Euclid habang nagmamadali kaming maglakad sa hallway.
"Aba 'edi hahanapin si Shiro, ano pa ba?" sagot niya. "Do you want us to be ambush by a swarm of enemies again? As far as I know, we are in enemy territory and they know our every move."
// "I believe the enemy has not much information on your movement,"// A static voice rang across the room.
"Who's that?" Nikki asked, taking a stance. I stiffened, taking a hold of my weapon as I glance my eyes in the whole area.
// "It's us, Mai and Storm,"// sagot ng babaeng nagsasalita sa speaker.
Eh?! Si Mai and Storm? Nasaan sila at paano nilang nagagawa 'yon. "Where are you?" tanong ko.
// "Some kind of control room where we have full view of everyone,"// sagot ni Mai.
Control room?! Seriously?! How lucky can they be, not to mention Storm was there whose an expert at technology. They were probably able to figure out how the whole thing work. Napatingin ako sa kisame, seeing a small speaker hanging down from it.
// "Nevermind the other details about us. For now, I want you guys to start the opposite direction. A flood coming on your way and Shiro, Sheena, and Miku have been taken by it."// dagdag ni Storm.
"Say what?!" we snapped. Anong tsunami ang sinasabi nila? Either way, nagsimula na akong tumakbo patungo sa direksyon na sinabi ni Mai.
"So now nagmamadali ka na," Euclid nagged.
I ignored his remark and ran as fast as I can before the flood arrived at our corridor. May binanggit pa si Storm sa speaker tungkol sa water wizard na kumokontrol sa flood na iyon. We have our own water wizard but theirs are way stronger than ours.
Lumiko kami ng koridor kung saan kami nanggaling kanina. I ran and hit a person at ganun din ang nangyari kay Euclid. I fall down my butt at napataas ang tingin sa nakabunguan ko. Angela stood, dominating me. Claude halted beside her, having an argument with Euclid.
Reiki soon followed and Hya who's dripping in sweat from being left behind.
"You guys!" Nikki exclaimed.
"You're here?" turo ni Angela sa amin isa-isa.
"Maraming sumama sa amin," Euclid explained.
"Si Anne at Alfred na lang ang wala," Chris commented.
"Sina Sheena, Miku at Shiro pa," Reiki said.
"The three of them are in danger because a flood is on its way here and they were sucked by it. We need to stop that flood and the water magic wizard para mailigtas natin silang tatlo," paliwanag ng dire-diretso ni Euclid. "Gets?"
"It'll suffice," Angela answered.
Nakarinig kami ng malakas na ragasa ng tubig at sabay-sabay kaming lumingon sa direksyong pinanggagalingan namin. Water flooded down the long corridor, waves surging sharply and almost as high as a tsunami. Pare-pareho silang napatili sa gilid ko matapos nilang makita ang nakakakilabot na mga alon.
Humarap sa amin si Chris at iniharang ang sarili.
"What're you doing?" I asked.
"Stopping it,"
"That's a freaking tsunami! How would you stop—"
"Have you forgotten my magic?" she intervened, a smile curving on her lips. "Water Magic: Water Halt,"
Teka teka teka TEKA! There is no way hahayaan ko siyang gawin ang binabalak niya. Chris doesn't have enough aura to stop those massive waves. I know she uses water magic but that is not the case.
