Chapter 12

~Ushio Pov~
There was another 5 minutes till first period is done. While paying attention to the teacher, i felt eyes scanning me. I tried not to worry about it though. *RING* Finally the bell rang for 2nd period. This time i didnt wait for ackerman-kun to leave first.

I stood up from my desk and gathered my books, i took a quick peak at ackerman. I actually saw him starring at me with that frightening glare. 'W-why is he giving me that look? D-did i do something to piss him off?' I then see him stand up and go, I followed suit. 'Something seems different...i feel like something is gonna happen...'

I made it to 2nd period and sat in front of ackerman. I still felt his cold stare, it was really scaring me but i just tried to ignore it.

Everyone was starting to walk into the classroom but one stood out the most. I actually didnt get her name, she was the one who was being rude to me on the first day. 'I dont even want to know her stupid name...' While she was walking she stopped next to my desk. My eyes widened, 'what does she want from me!?'

I then felt a hard tap on my head. "You know, a bitch like you shouldn't be sitting in front of MY levi" 'Levi..?' i dont even understand why it matters but all i did was sit there. I didnt say anything to her, i felt another hard tap on my head.

"Hey im talking to you!" Still i said nothing. This was going on for like 2 minutes at best till the teacher came in and told everyone to sit down.

~10 minute time skip~

"Okay class get your notebook out and write down this paragraph" i opened mine and started writing. I was probably the first to finish but who cares. 'Ackerman-kun...' For some reason i felt like i should say something to him...but i cant talk in class.

'What should i do...' i was thinking. It took me a minute but i finally had an idea. 'Ill pass a note to him, i just hope he doesn't write anything and crumble it...' i tore a piece of paper from my notebook.

I didnt even know the teacher was starting another paragraph. I wrote down something, then i secretly threw the piece backwards. I was hoping he would read it and also hoping it didnt hit his head, to be honest i think he would get mad. 'Please read it...please' i know he couldnt hear me but i really wanted him to read it.

I then felt something small hit my hand. It was a crumbled up piece of paper, 'did he...' i slowly open the piece and saw some other writing. I noticed by the attitude in the sentence that ackerman wrote it.

Levi: What the hell do you want

I didnt know if i should write back but i did anyway. It didnt take me long to write it, i then secretly threw it back towards ackerman. "Ushio, please read this paragraph on the board" i was surprised but i stood up and resite the paragraph.

"Life. Many of us could not even live a life of peace without having hope deep inside the heart. Life is unpredictable, hard and quite notorious at times. Things go out of hand and beyond of our control many times. Hope helps us keep the fight on and improves the chances of making our life better. Hope - the essence of life keeps our eyes wide open for an improved future. I know it's very hard keeping up with the inner faith during the most critical times, but, those who never leave hope, actually make it till the end."

I then sat back down to find the crumbled piece of paper.

I giggled a tiny bit when i saw that drawn emoticon. Actually all through 2nd period we were writing to each other. This was the first real conversation with ackerman...'im glad...'
