Chapter 16

~Levi's Pov~
I was walking upstairs to relax. 'Stupid people' i made it up the stairs and open my door. Since the house was always hot i leave my window open to let some cold air in. I walk into my room without shutting the door and plopped on my bed. I was on my phone texting farlen.

About 10 minutes later i hear, "GIVE IT TO ME YOU BITCH!" this guy was screaming like some kind of psycho. I then hear some kind of bottle hit the road and heard a car speed over then smashed it. I kept hearing that same guy screaming at someone, "WHY DID YOU DO THAT YOU IDIOTIC BITCH" i was really annoyed now.

'Damn neighbors' i got off my bed and went to the window about to tell them to shut the hell up. Till i see the same guy that went into ushio's house in the front yard. He was beating the shit out of her and all she was doing was laying down on the ground. Also covering head, possibly crying.

My eyes widened, 'So...thats where the bruises came from' i didnt move, i didnt know if i should butt in. Finally the guy stopped. "IF YOU TAKE MY BOTTLE AGAIN I WILL BEAT YOU SOME MORE! ARE WE CLEAR USHIO!" I hear her whimpers loud and clear.
"Y-yes father, w-were as c-clear as c-crystal..." 'Her father...' i see her dad go into the house and slam the door behind him. Ushio was still laying on the ground, 'I cant fight this urge anymore, i need to go to her' i didnt care anymore, i now started to think about her safety.

I ran down the stairs and quickly opened my front door. I shut it behind me and stop at the sidewalk. 'I might be bad...but i feel the need to protect this girl' i crossed the street and was walking straight to her. She was trying to stand up but it seemed that she couldnt cuz of the pain.

Without her realizing it, i stand over to her. I was about to help her but then i heard, "Oh my god, ushio!" i turn around and see a women come out of a taxi and quickly rushes to her side. "Ushio, USHIO are you okay sweetie! What happened!" she looked up at me.

Her eyes asked 'did you do this...?' i shook my head. "M-mommy..." i look down at ushio clutching the grass. "I-it hurts..." i heard her mom say, "I know sweeite, i know."

Her mom was petting her head. 'Why the fuck isnt her mom calling the police or something!?' i was really worried now..

~Dream~
"Ushio its story time" i start running to my mommy and give her a happy smile. "I like story time!" my mommy gave me a surprised look, "You like?" i give her a even wider smile.

"Yea i like story time" my mommy starts to laugh a tiny bit. "I thought you would say 'i LOVE story time" i didnt know what she was talking about. My face says it all, "mommy, love doesnt have a meaning"

My mommy picks me up and sits me on her lap. "Love does have meaning sweetie. But you believe whatever you want."

I woke up slowly, i felt really comfortable so i didnt move. 'I guess my mother moved me to my bed...but im glad she is home...' i smile slightly. I finally sit up after about 5 minutes. *Knock Knock* someone was knocking at my room door, i looked over to it to find my mother opening and closes it.

"Oh good, your awake." she gives me a smile and sits down on my bed. "I hope your doing okay ushio." i look straight into my mothers eyes, "Yea im fine" she touches my face to feel the small bruise on it, "A little make-up should fix this...sweetie, im really sorry..."

I was surprised for a second but then looked away sadly. "Mother...why dont you just...divorce him..." i didnt hear my mother talk, so i turn my head towards her. "Because...i love your father so much, i dont appreciate him landing a hand on you but-" i cut her off.
