Chapter 15

~Ushio's Pov~
'How....i know i covered all my bruises...so...how can he see them!' I was freaking out, i didnt even look at ackerman. But i did feel his stare behind me, it was most definitely a serious stare. I move my hand up to my neck and cover the small bruise. 'T-the neck bruise! Did he see that! I thought no one would notice'

I turn towards ackerman and smiled nervously. 'Looks like im gonna have to keep calm and lie...' "W-what are you t-talking about? What b-bruises?" If i keep stuttering then its definitely gonna show him that im lying. But if im being honest, im already bad at lying to anyone.

My father taught me not to lie or there will be consequences. I learned that the hard way....

~Levi's Pov~
"Your bruises are showing." I said that like everything was fine. I see her stop and freeze right in front of me. I was looking directly at her back with a serious face. 'Tch' I see her put her hand up to her neck and slowly turned to face me.

"W-what are you t-talking about? What b-bruises?" she is really bad at lying, a tic mark formed on my head. 'Why do i care anyways' I give her a glare. I see her flinch from my glare. "Its obvious you fucking idiot."

She was still smiling nervously and was trying to lie some more. "I really d-dont know what your talking about a-ackerman-kun" I was about say something else but i thought for a second. 'I shouldnt even be butting in her business, i dont even fucking care' yea i say that but deep inside i feel like i should care.

"W-well look at the time i g-gotta go home, um s-see you tomorrow!" she started to run to her house. Unlike me who just stood there speechless.

~Ushio's Pov~
I ran home like my life depends on it. 'I cant believe he saw the neck bruise!? Im an idiot! I have to cover it!' I finally made it to my door, grabbed my key and opened the door fastly. I even slammed it shut. I was breathing heavily, i wasnt thinking about anything but the fact that he saw it.

"Im...an idiot...i should have covered it..." i then slide down the door and cry. Luckly my father wasnt home yet. I bet he would hurt me just for crying.

I cried for about 10 minutes, i then stood up. 'I should go lay down...' I walked up the stairs and finally made it to my room. I shut the door behind me and plopped on my bed. Without thinking i shut my eyes and let sleep take over.

~Levi's Pov~
I see her running like her life depends on it. 'I guess she didnt expect me to see the damn bruises' i then just walked home. While walking home i take a glance at her house. 'Why do i feel so stupid for pointing out the bruises...'

I then see a red truck come into ushio's parking lot. A tall male stepped out and walked to her door. 'Thats either her brother or her dad...' i kept starring at the house, i felt like something was telling me to watch it. 'Im not gonna sit here and stare at her damn house, that makes me feel like a stalker'

I forced myself to walk away towards my house.

~Ushio's Pov~
*Slam* i woke up to a loud noise, like a door slamming shut. I sit up, 'My father must be home....' i get off my bed and open my door to greet him. I stepped out and slowly went down 3 steps. I see my father giving me that glare, "Father....how was your day?"

I was really surprised...he was smiling, "It was fine" he didnt scream at me, he must have had good day. "Im glad" i give him a sweet smile and walk down the stairs fully. I see my father going into the kitchen and come back with a beer.

"U-um father, maybe you shouldn't-" he gave me a death glare, "Shouldnt what, HUH" i flinch and then give him a nervous smile, "N-nothing...n-nevermind" I then see him go to the couch and start drinking. I sigh in relief, 'For a second...i thought i was gonna get beat, im glad that he cut me off'.

After that all i did was go sit on the steps, i mean i did promise my mother i would watch his drinking...

~Flash Back~
I was getting ready for church when i see my mother walk into my room. "Hey ushio" i look at her with my bright smile. "Hi mother, you look a little down. Is everything all right?" my mother sat on my bed and gave me a small smile, "No im fine, i just wanted to talk to you about something. Please shut the door."

I walk over and shut the door softly. I then walked to her where im standing right in front of her. "Ushio...so i have to go on a business trip..." after she said that i sat down next to her. "And i know that when i leave...your father will probably do bad things to you while he is drinking..."

I give her a sad look and stare down at my black stocking. "You have been wanting me to get a divorce and i can understand why....but i just love him so much that i cant bring myself to do it." i keep starring at my stockings. "Anyway...when im gone, do you think you can keep an eye on your father?" I look over at her fastly and had a frightened face.

"What why!? He wont listen to me mother." i heard her sigh, "I meant to keep an eye on him while he is drinking, i dont want him drinking to much or else the house will get ruined." "Oh.." i stand up with my head hung low. "Yea...i promise i will."

i felt hands wrap around me in a warm embrace. "Thank you sweetie, ill be back in a month."
~Flash Back End~

She said she would be back in a month but it feels like its been forever since i saw her. I keep watching my father closely, i see him drinking more and more. 'Why do i keep my promises' i walk over to my father and take away the beer bottle. "Father i think you had enough"

He looked at me, he was really mad. "GiVe It BaCk NoW!" i was scared but i didnt give it back to him, i shook my head no. "I SAID GIVE IT BACK NOW!" I felt the need to run and so i did.

My dad was running after me, all over the house me and him were in just one big chase. 'Outside!' I ran to the front door, i didnt bother shutting it so my father was able to get out easily. "GIVE IT TO ME YOU BITCH!" I still didnt give it to him, instead i threw it into the street were a car hit it.

Perfect timing right? I was smiling from victory, but i felt uneasy. I turn my head and see my dad really close to me. I start shaking. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT YOU IDIOTIC BITCH"

I felt him grab me and was ready to beat me right in public....

So this took sometime but its finally done. I really hope you guys are enjoying it so far. And once im finished with this story, i will tell you the reason why i made this. Alright see you next time
