Ashleen's POV:
I knew I wouldn't make it in time to the 'Family Home' before the meeting started, I probably wouldn't even be there for the first five minutes. It would have to be worth it though because at the moment I was pulling up to Alex's house and while I was thinking maybe I'd just let her get out and go, I knew I was going to get out and walk her to her front door. Who says chivalry is dead?
We sat for a moment after I'd turned off the car, Alex looking from me to the outside world. I called it the outside world because it was almost like the world kept going while we were in our own place, forgetting everything as we talked. Well more so Alex talked and I had listened, but I was content at that moment, even if I should have been worried about being late for the meeting.
As we sat in the silence of the car, our breaths being the only thing that made a sound I was content. I gazed up at Alex and she gave me a bashful smile when I caught her staring again.
"I wish I didn't have to leave. I've had fun spending time with you little one, but I have something important to get to." I sigh as I open my door to get out.
I flashed over to Alex's door and held my hand out for her, appreciating the soft warmth of her skin as she accepted my assistance. After all, she was wearing heels. Before letting go and walking her to her front door. I stayed by her side, not too close as to invade her space, but not too far that I wouldn't be able to notice the slight coffee bean smell that lingered on her.
"Thank you for agreeing to go on a date with me Ash-" she stopped as she was on the second step of her porch and I was just behind her. "- I mean, is it alright if I call you Ash? I don't want to be rude if you don't like it as a nickname, it's just Ashleen is kind of a mouthful. like Where does your name originate from, it kind of sounds like Ashlee but it has the added 'N'. Oh my gosh, I'm rambling, aren't I? I'm going to shut up now." And she did, she just closed her mouth and looked at me with her eyes all big. I couldn't hold in my laugh as I looked up at her, she was just adorable as she looked from me to her hands which she had balled up in the hem of her shirt.
"It is alright Alex, you can call me just about anything your little human heart desires. Most people who I am close with do call me Ash. I think my name is English, I don't quite know but it does sound like an English name, don't you think? Your rambling is quite adorable little one, now let us get you inside." I responded as I walked up the stair, nudging her along.

Alex's POV:
After Ashleen drove me back home she got out and held the car door for me and walked me up my front porch like the gentlewoman that she is. Of course, I had to make a fool out of myself when I decided to call her Ash. She said it was alright to call her Ash, that I was allowed to call her just about anything.
Shortly after She had walked me to my door she grabbed my hand, turning it so that my palm faced up and leaned down, placing a kiss on my wrist. She winked at me and started walking to her car. I watched her for a moment with a dopey grin on my face before unlocking my house and walking in, watching from the window as she got in her car, and much like the first night, drovw off into the soon to be sunset.
