Recap

Austin clears his throat after a while. "Wild night huh?" We laugh, agreeing the atmosphere going back to how it was.

Even with everything being fine, I couldn't stop replaying that kiss.

I couldn't wait to go to bed.

"Oh no honey, you got to ask who it was." Trent says, stabbing into his hash browns.

After early choreography, Trent and I went out to eat lunch. Which explains why we were sitting in a booth of a diner.

"I can't! I mean you should've saw how awkward it was it the car after." I tell him, grimacing at the memory.

He rolls his eyes. "I'm sure it wasn't as bad as you say, besides why would it matter if you knew?" His brow raises at the question.

I take a sip of my orange juice trying to stall the question as long as I could. Truth was I didn't know the answer myself.

"Nessa." Trent exaggerates, waiting for my reply.

I sigh. "I don't know Trent, I mean when I really think about it I don't even know them all that well. Like we're close, but I don't know much about their past, more like their present and future."

He shrugs. "I mean, is it really a bad thing to not know their past."

"No, not necessarily. But it does shape who a person is, and why their the way they are." I point out to Trent, who nods agreeing.

He's hesitant to reply. "That's true.. I mean did you like the kiss?" He asks.

I blush at the thought. "It was a good kiss I can't lie."

Trent claps his hands. "Problem solved! Find out who it was, and get to know that person a bit more."

"I know you're right, but the question is do I want to get to know the person more?" I ask him, or more so myself.

"I can't answer that for you, but if you liked the kiss I'm sure there's a reason why. Maybe find out if it's more physical, or emotional attraction?." He offers, I nod to his idea.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. I think I'm just nervous because I haven't really had a serious relationship."  I laugh at myself. "Look I'm already talking about a relationship that might not ever exist!" Maybe I was going crazy.

Trent gives me a weird look. "You sure you didn't do more than just drinking last night?" I tell him to 'shut up' and we break into fits of laughter.

We continue to eat, and talk about random things when I hear my phone ring.

aye, wya?

"Who is it?" Trent asks.

"It's Nick." I reply, typing back to his text.

lil' ma 💃🏽
I'm out eating with Trent, I should be back soon, sorry if I worried you guys.

I look up to find Trent smiling. "What?" I ask confused.

"Maybe it's Nick." He says as if it was no big deal.

"What makes you say that?" I question, there were lots of possibilities.

"Just a guess, I mean he asked where you were. Which means he cares." He waves over a waiter who collects our plates, leaving us the check.

I shake my head. "No I don't think it was him." I grab the check, seeing the price to pay.

Before I can pull my wallet out Trent slaps my hand. "I'm paying."

"Fine, but I'm paying next time." I tell him seriously, to which he just laughs.

"Thank you!" I smile at him, realizing I hadn't said it.

"Of course boo."

"Dominican! We missed you." Edwin says, pulling me into a tight hug.

I laugh pulling away. "I was gone for like two hours, well if you don't count choreography."

Austin pulls me into a hug next. "That's a long time when you're with us twenty-four seven."

I nod into his chest. "That is true." I reply, it coming out muffled.

Brandon walks out of the bathroom, coming up to give me a hug. "Nesquik! Guess what?" He asks, a huge smile on his face.

"Uh..you got a new dog?"

He shakes his head. "Not the worse guess, but I missed you!" I laugh while he pulls me in another hug.

"What's really up?" I ask, not believing what he said.

Brandon's face slightly reddens. "My girlfriend Charlotte is coming to tonight's show! But I wanted to seem sweet."

I "aw" at his response. "You are sweet, but introduce me to her alright? I wanna see the girl who makes you happy."

He nods smiling. "You got it."

I hear a door shut, and I look up to see Zion and Nick coming back from my room.

I turn to them, crossing my arms. "Do you boys care to explain what you were doing in my room."

There heads shook up. "Oh shit." Nick says.

"Y'all were supposed to text us if she was here so we could go through the front!" Zion groans.

I raise my brow. "But you came through the connected door?"

"Yeah cause we thought you weren't here yet." Nick replies, running a hand through his messy hair.

"Care to explain Edwin?" Zion asks, his eyes widening.

He shrugs. "We thought about it, and we realized we're not going to get involved. Plus we couldn't do our girl like that."

"Traitor." Nick scoffs.

"Again, what were you two doing in my room." I ask firmly.

Zion smirks. "Go see for yourself." I walk hesitantly towards the connected door.

I gasp when I walk in, everything was covered in toilet paper!

"What the hell is this!" I basically shriek, the rest of the guys join in, laughing at my trashed hotel room.

The two boys laugh, I tap my foot impatiently. "Well?"

"Welcome to the prank wars."

Authors Note :

Okayy so this was just a filler, I know you all probably wanted more. But that'll happen in the next chapter, I don't want to rush it along too fast. I want it to be somewhat relatable.

Anyways thanks for reading! xx
