Recap

A knock at the door snaps me from my thoughts. "Just a second!" I shout quickly grabbing some toilet paper.

Throwing it away I open the door and try to hide my shock. "Bathrooms all yours." I brush pass Zion, but his voice stops me. "They like you."

I turn to face him and give a small smile. "I know."

He purses his lips staring at me a bit longer before giving a nod. "Good."

"He's just so confusing!" I groan landing next to Nick with a frown.

After dinner I instantly came to Edwin and Nick's room—grateful that they were roomed together, and spilled about what had happened.

He laughs throwing a little bean bag ball to Edwin. "That's just the way he is, it's not right, but that's his way of saying he wants to talk with you."

Edwin agrees joining in. "He's right." He says tossing it back to Nick. "Trust us if Zion wanted nothing to do with you—you'd know. He wouldn't even say a word to you."

I flip over onto my stomach putting my hands under my chin. "Then why doesn't he just talk to me?"

Nick sighs facing me. "Because he has too much pride." He says. "He's all talk on the outside, but he's really just soft." Nick ends, to which Edwin agrees. "Man is speaking straight facts."

"Now what do you guys say to a little fun time in the hot tub?" Edwin asks both his brows raised.

Nick and I look to one another before giving Edwin the same look. "What?" He asks. "A little fun time in the hot tub." Nick quotes leaving Edwin still confused.

"Yeah a little fun time—man y'all are gross." Edwin tsk's getting up from his bed.

He goes to one of the drawers picking out a pair of swim trunks. "I expect to see you guys out there in ten minutes."

Before leaving he pokes his head back in room. "Oh! And don't worry about telling everyone I'll do it."

Once he's gone Nick and I both let out a laugh. "I'm gonna miss this." I admit truthfully. "I'm going to miss all of you." I say, my eyes looking at him.

He hits my shoulder. "Stop making it sound like a goodbye. We're still going to see one another." I nod with a laugh. "I know, it's just going to weird not seeing you guys everyday."

Nick nods in agreement. "Yeah that's going to take some time to adjust to." He pauses. "I mean not being with you at least. I'm with these goons everyday." He says a small laugh passing his lips.

I laugh with him. "But you still wouldn't have it any other way." I ask, though I already knew the answer.

He shakes his head. "I couldn't. Now come give me a hug so you can change before Ed kills us."

Nick stands to his feet, and I laugh pulling him into a hug. "He really would wouldn't h—"

"Yo Ed when are—" Nick and I break apart from the sudden entrance only to see Zion standing there.
