Recap

Trent nods seeming to understand. "Don't stress too much girly, just let me know how the date goes."

I smile at his reassurance. "I will." If only I knew how much more confused I'd be.

After talking with Trent I felt more at ease as the day continued on.

The boys and I were currently playing uno, and things were getting pretty intense. "Brandon did you really just skip me?" Edwin scoffs, his face feigning a look of betrayal.

Brandon shrugs. "When it comes to uno you never play nice." He points, making me nod in agreement. "Uno was made to break relationships." I laugh.

Edwin grumbles  placing down an eat two card. "Suck it Dominican." He smirks, making my mouth agape. "Don't make me use my reverse." I threaten in return.

We continue to play, until Zion shouts. "Uno!" Turning we see the one card held in his hand, a secretive look on his face.

Austin goes next, the circle going on until it goes back to Nick. I notice he had two cards left and seemed hesitant to place one down— which was understandable due to the fact that Zion was next.

With a shake of his head he placed down a blue with a number '3' on it. "Uno!" He says, holding the one card to his chest.

Zion stands yelling. "Doesn't matter cause I win motherfuckers!" He laughs, setting down his last card which happened to be blue.

We all groan tossing our cards onto the table. "Well that was fun." Austin comments, making us agree. "We should do a game night once every week." Edwin says.

"I second that." Brandon grins, putting two fingers in the air.

"I third it."

"I forth it."

"I fifth it, y'all gonna lose." I roll my eyes at Zion's remark. The boy wins one game of Uno and he gets cocky.

Austin throws him a look, but claps. "Sounds like a plan."

As time passes we all do our own thing, but still remain in the same room— we enjoyed one another's company.

There was still a bit of time till we had to leave the hotel and head to the venue.

The boys for their sound check, and for me to watch.

Looking around the room I see Edwin and Zion talking, Austin on his phone, and Brandon FaceTiming Charlotte.

So I decide to join a lonesome Nick on the couch.

He turns to me with a smile on his face. "Hey, it's been a minute since we talked." Nick says quietly. Realizing he's right, I nod it had been a while—or at least it felt that way.

"Forreal! What makes you think you can go all ghost on me?" I tease, making him laugh.

"Nah I've been here, we just haven't had much alone time." I watch as his eyes stare into mine and I feel the need to look away from such intimacy. Darting my eyes I meet his after a while. "So when's this date happening?"  I ask.
