Recap

Nick groans. "Fuck, okay look we'll talk tomorrow, I promise."

I sigh. "You know I could just ask someone else right." I challenge him, truth is I wouldn't.

He smiles. "But you won't." Nick leaves saying he needed a drink and I'm left standing in the corner with many questions.

"Everyone if I can have your attention." Khalid says speaking into the mic. Inside everyone turns to face him, waiting to see what's to be said.

He smiles clearing his throat. "I just wanted to make a celebratory toast for tonight. While there's still some stops left, so far tours been great."

I look around, seeing bright smiles upon every face, Khalid had that affect.

"I also want to give a special thanks to the boys of Prettymuch!" He says, the smile never leaving his face. I hear cheers around the room, myself included.

He continues once it quiets down. "You're not only my friends, but y'all some dope ass performers so give it up for them!"

Scattered claps and cheers fill the house, I try my best to find at least one of the boys, but can't over the sea of people,

Before I decide to stop looking, I spot Zion with a huge smile on his face. He turns his head finding me staring at him. He throws me a small grin, making his way towards me.

I hear feedback from the microphone and redirect my attention to Khalid.

"I'd also like to thank the amazing crew, my managers, and anyone who made this possible." More people clap, but he continues.

"And how could I forget the amazing dancers who support me every night, without you all my shows would be boring. He laughs. "So a toast to everyone and a fantastic rest of the tour." Khalid raises his cup, everyone following along.

I look so see a tall arm outstretched beside my somewhat short one. I knew it belonged to no other then Zion.

The music comes back on shortly, once Khalid leaves the DJ booth. I watch as people join the floor to dance, their bodies getting closer as the song plays.

"Where'd you disappear to?" Zion asks, taking a gulp from his cup.

I shrug. "Just around, I lost everyone tonight to be honest." I tell him truthfully.

He laughs. "Forreal though, we all did our own thing tonight."

"It's not that bad though, I'm still having fun." I smile. Zion looks down at me placing his empty cup onto a nearby counter.

"Want to make it better?" He asks, his eyes looking into mine.

I give him a curious look. "What do you have in mind?" I ask in return, feeling my brow raise with the question.

"Come dance with me, let's show these people up." Zion says, a small smile dancing on his lips.

I laugh shaking my head. "I don't know, isn't Nick the best dancer?" I joke, truth be told they were all good.
