They arrived at the Faulkerson residence in just a few minutes.

Shala talaga 'tong batang to, mansion eh. Dei thought as they entered the seemingly empty house.

"Juice? Gusto mo? Water? Gutom ka ba? Gusto mong merienda? Upo ka, upo ka." RJ obviously feeling a mixture of panic and excitement.

"Huy. Relax. Okay lang ako."

"Kuya? Kuya! Akala ko bumalik ka na sa condo!" Riza runs down the stairs to meet their special guest.

"May bisita ka pala. Hi! I'm Riza."

"Dei."

"Hi Ate Dei! Blockmate ka ni Kuya?"

"Ah hinde, ano, taga La Salle din." RJ answers for her. Dei smiles at her instead.

"Oh okay! Entrance exam ko na dyan next week, sana pumasa. Halika, dun tayo sa dining, nag paluto ako ng meryenda papadagdagan ko lang." Riza heads to the kitchen as Dei & RJ sits beside each otherin the dining room.

In a few minutes, Riza emerges with a plate full of warm cheese ensaymada.

"Ayan, palabas na rin yung juice. Ano pa gusto nyo? Nagpaluto rin ako ng hotdog." Riza sits across Dei, leaning forward showing interest to the only woman her brother brought home to meet her.

"So, Ate Dei, buti napasyal ka dito, lagi kang kinukwento ni Kuya eh."

"Ah talaga?" "Walaaaa, hindi naman lagi ito naman." RJ interrupts glares at Riza.

"So anong course ang gusto mong pasukan Riz?"

""Pinag pipilian ko pa kung Philosophy or Psych Ate e. Sabi ni Kuya sakin dati wag daw Philo, lalaki daw akong piliosopo. Wag din daw Psych baka lumaki akong psycho."

"Aaahh ganun ba." Dei chuckles at all these revelations.

"Oy hinde ah, kelan ko sinabi yun?? Ang ganda kaya ng psych! Matatalino mga nagsa psych ano!"

"O, iho, akala ko nakabalik ka na ng Manila?"

All three of them looked at the person who just walked in the room, it was RJ's dad. Surprised that his dad was home which was unusual, RJ stands up and introduces Dei.

"Ah, Dad. Andito ka pala. Si Dei, friend ko. Nasiraan kasi ng sasakyan, pinaiwan ko muna yung sasakyan niya sa shop at dinala ko sya dito habang naghihintay."

"Good afternoon Mr. Faulkerson." Dei shakes his hand.

"Good afternoon, iha. Call me Tito Ric na lang. Sit, sit. Feel at home. Mabuti naman at matino itong anak ko at tinulungan ka. Sandali tatawag lang ako sa shop to check the status of your car."

He leaves the room to get his phone, leaving the three at the table.

"Riz. Andito pala si Daddy bakit di mo sinabi sa akin. Sana sa coffee shop na lang kami sa labasan nag hintay." RJ whispers to his sister across the table.

"Natural dito sya nakatira diba. Malay ko bang mag uuwi ka ng bisita sana iniwas ko kayo." Riza whispers back.

"Sorry Dei ha, alis na tayo pagkatapos mo mag meryenda, dun na lang tayo maghintay sa malapit sa shop." RJ turns to Dei apologetically.

"Ha? Why, ok lang naman to meet your dad, no problem. He seems nice."

Just as RJ is about to enumerate the reasons as to why his father is anything BUT nice, his dad comes back to the room.

"O, iha, Dei right? Mukhang matatagalan pa yung sasakyan mo, aside from the battery may problem din daw sa aircon, better if they take a more thorough look. Dito na kayo mag dinner."
