Des POV

I looked at him, unable to explain. I had problems, I wanted to go then but it happened. My brother.

" I was kidding! You should have seen the look on your face!"

He was laughing so hard, he might have died of suffocation. I let out a sigh of relieve and after a moment of playfully teasing each other , he brought me around the place.

It had been a long time.

3 weeks later

Percy brought me to the abandon carnival everyday after school. I would usually get glares from other girls but I didn't care. I was content.

We ran around, chasing each other. Laughing and shouting . When Percy managed to catch up and grabbed me by the waist, lifting me up .

" Let me go."

" Never."

I blushed at the meaning behind those words. He turned me so I could face him, he was still lifting me. Wow, he was strong .....and tall. I stopped trying to pry his arms off my waist and wrapped my arms around his torso.

" I love you Des."

I was shocked, pretty much in the verge of exploding into a million butterflies and sparkles. He loved me............

" Ever since that night, we have been sneaking in for years. But now I know why you didn't come that night." ( FYI, I changed to her brother died when she was nine.)

He leaned his forehead onto mine, our breathes fanning against each other's neck. We slowly leaned it, feeling the warmth of being in each other's arms.

I decided to make this a little more fun, this was Percy anyways.

Right when our lips were about to touch, I moved away to his ear and whispered, " Convince me"

I took the perfect opportunity and slid out of his grip while he was stunned , ran away.

I didn't turn back, went straight to my house and rushed into my bedroom.

Throwing myself in my bed, squealing. Silently. No way I'm waking anyone up. I didn't want- No, Des, no negative thoughts. I was so happy, I wanted it to rain unicorns and puppies all over the world.

I couldn't sleep the whole night and tried to predict what Percy might do in school. Creep, huh?

Next day '''''lunch

I sat at the corner as usual , alone. I was about to get up and leave when I felt a shoulder on my shoulder.

Percy smiled at me and mouthed the words " wait"

Okay...

He walked towards the 'popular table'. Percy was a hit ever since he walked through the school doors . He stood up and climbed onto the table, cupped his hand to make his voice louder and clearer.

" I have approximately 86 seconds before some nice responsible adult calls the headmaster."

The whole cafeteria erupt into laughter. I was still standing by the exit, waiting in progress.

" Now , you all are probably wondering, why on earth is he doing this? Well, I can tell you. It's because of her."

He pointed to me. Every single living thing was staring at me. I swear I could feel the microorganisms looking at me .

I gulped , blushing a little.

" Destiny, you have no idea of how much you mean to me. I cannot imagine my life without you because you are my life. Ever since this angel stepped into my life , I learnt to see things the way I see her. Perfect. You, Destiny aren't just anything in my life, you are my everything. No matter what you say or do, you will always be amazing . You are beautiful, charming, intellectual and everything I never have been. And I hope I can wake up every morning, knowing you will also be thinking about me. Going to school everyday, at the same time , just to get even the slightest glimpse of you. Waiting at Starbucks , just for you to walk in and by coincidence meet me. Sitting by the phone all night waiting for a text or a call from you.And knowing that you love me back. Destiny, will you be my official girlfriend?"

He was now standing in front of me, smiling genuinely , putting his hands out towards me.

" Do I need to sign a contract?"

I said while interlacing my fingers with his, giggling. Soon the whole school was cheering and applauding, whooping.

" Now what?" Percy actually asked that in front of the whole school.

" We go to a part of the school with Wifi and update our status."

He laughed , I laughed, almost everyone laughed.

Then , Percy held my wrist, dragging me up to the table. We stood on the table there, foreheads touching. Why is this familiar? His lips crashed into mine, our mouths moving in perfect synch.

It was perfect, well until.......

" I hate you, Percy! You cheater!"
