THAT I would not update about Madelyn's identity until she posts her book.

Des's POV

"Madelyn is my-"

Then, the library doors swung open announcing Madelyn's arrival.

Percy gently removed his hands from my shoulders and helped me up. Madelyn strolled in to the corner.

"Percy..... Explain..."

She was fuming, her face was flustered. I pulled away from Percy and all three of us stood awkwardly.

"Madelyn, how many times do I-"

"Shush! You have no what-so-ever right to talk! You are such a player, a liar and cheat! You can never be trusted! You-you-"

I was pissed. Even though the previous incident had hurt me, she couldn't just march into the library and yell at Percy!

"Hey!"

I interrupted her.

" First, you want an explanation but you shut him up! Second..."

I walked up to Madelyn and poked my finger on her shoulder .

" Don't. You. Ever. Talk. About. Percy. That. Way."

She pushed my hand away and stared at me. At moments like this, I would feel very awkward or scared and back off. This time my guts told me to face this 'Madelyn' and told her back off.

" Don't you get it?! Or you're gonna keep trusting your 'boyfriend'?"

I spat venom I to every word I replied.

" Yes. Exactly. I will trust Percy with my life. Not anyone else...especially not...you!"

She looked at me again, observing me head to toe. She seemed deep in thought and from her grim mad expression, she broke into a smile.

I felt Percy's arm snaked around my waist and turned to see a goofy smile plastered on his face.

Madelyn looked at Percy and he did the same.

Then, they burst out laughing . I was left confused. I gathered one conclusion, Madelyn was very beautiful when she smiled.

"Aha! Suck it , Madelyn!"

Madelyn raised her hands to the air and backed away.

" Fine! Fine! You win!"

"Huh?"

They looked at my expression and burst out laughing again and gasping for air.

"So-rry..Des--- I ...I.."

After that , they just kept laughing and I couldn't help but join in.

Mdm. Piws came and gave us a disapproving look but laughed along anyways.

The nice librarian.

"Can someone explain?"

Madelyn walked towards me and stuck out her hand.

"Nice to meet you, Destiny. This may come as a surprise to you but here it goes. I'm Percy's-"
