I waited and time seemed to stop.

I felt my heart racing, my head throbbing but it all slowed down.

The impact never came.

I opened my eyes.

The car had swayed left and crashed into a traffic sign.My knees went weak.

I looked down at myself, surprised to see myself still standing with all my limbs connected to my body.

I took in a deep breath and shallow ones followed later.

The red truck was quite old and trashed.

The car door shot open.

A young man, maybe 19 or so, jogged up towards me.

Destiny beat him to the chase.

"Madelyn!"

She made sure to look left and right before rushing towards me.

Wise.

I was rooted to the ground, lips parted slightly.

She grabbed my wrist and gently turned me around.

My breathing rate calmed a little.

She took a good look at my face before gasping.

The young man tapped my shoulder and I took a very long time to respond.

He had a worried look plastered on his face.

( Yes, this is where I describe him. And you're welcome. )

His hair was neatly combed and he was wearing a classy suit.

He had green eyes that seemed to draw me in. He was half a foot taller than me. He looked gorgeous in the black suit and be the was wearing.He was...( fill in the blanks XD )

"Are you alright?"

He spoke with a very strong British accent which made him even more perfect.

His emerald eyes were filled with concern as he lifted my chin up.

"I'll send you to the hospital."

Destiny mumbled a quick 'thank you' but her eyes were fixed on me.

Mine was fixed on him.

I touched something dripping down neck.

Blood.

A glass shard must have cut me.

I felt a little light headed.

I glanced into the car's mirror which was inches a away from my knees.

Did I ever mention that I always get traumatized by the sight of a huge cut?

My eyelids sunk close.
