"NO DOESN'T MEAN: CONVINCE ME, IDIOT."

LILIAN HARPER HAD NEVER REALLY TALKED TO ANYONE. In fact, people at Forks High School rather stayed away from her. She was the badass bitch. The girl who pissed off Lauren Mallory by destroying one of her many chances with Tyler Crowley. Lilian Harper was this cool mean-girl nobody even dared to look at. It wasn't like she wore chokers with studs, all leather or all black. No, it wasn't her outfit that scared everyone away.

It was her face. No, it weren't her intelligent, blue eyes that never missed something. It weren't her beautiful waves of blond hair, which hung in front of her face most of the time. It weren't her perfect, pink lips that could make the most sarcastic remarks. It was the look on her face, that had told Jessica Stanley to fuck off, without even glancing towards the school's gossip. Lilian Harper was a lone girl, surrounded by nothing more but her books, her perfect grades, her family and her car.

Lilian didn't care, she'd never care. Her life was a total mystery, not even her parents were able to completely figure her out. Nevertheless, her life was perfect.

No one really knew about her personality. Only what they heard or did know. They only knew that she was a genius in solving crimes, she always got involved when something happened in the area of Forks. Lilian Harper was observant, careful, tactic and intelligent. She never showed any kind of affection to any human form that wasn't her blood. The only one she'd ever shown public affection to, was her brother.

COLLIN HARPER WAS A TOTAL OPPOSITE FROM HIS TWIN SISTER. He was popular, social and every girl in the school had to admit that he looked drop dead gorgeous. Anytime someone insulted his sister in any way, Collin wasn't scared to show his "big brother" nature. The Harper-twins weren't trouble. They were two complete opposites, that surprisingly matched perfectly. Collin was known as the bad boy of the town. The members of his family were the only ones that knew the undeniable truth: Collin Harper was a big softy.

Yes, girls fell head over heels for his ocean blue eyes and his dark brown-dyed hair, his smug grin and his great sport position... but never had there been a girl who looked behind that façade. Yes, Collin Harper had kissed with every popular girl in school, but never did he keep them. They were just what he saw them for: a distraction.

IF THESE TWINS ONLY HAD A SMALL IDEA OF WHAT FATE HELD FOR THEM.
