Okay, a few notes before you read this chapter.

Please ignore all the cliches that have been written, I kinda like them how they are.

Also, the points where there is talking and no one's name beside it, I'll leave it up to your imagination who's talking.

Also, I'm not sure why I made Devyn so sassy. Just go with it I guess?

Lastly, yes I know that the ending is kind of dubious. But I kinda wanted to leave it there for your interpretation about what Sam might be doing.

Anyway, that is all. I hope you enjoy part 2.

Chapter 2

"Yo Sam!" Jake called from the kitchen, hearing the front door open and close.

When he didn't get a response, Jake walked out of the kitchen to see Sam heading up the stairs.

"Well that was rude." Colby commented, from where he was leaning against the island and waiting on water to boil on the stove.

Jake nodded "I'll say. I wonder what's up with him?"

"Who knows?" Colby shrugged "Maybe he got into a fight with Kat?"

"Yeah, maybe" Jake replied doubtfully as he stared up to where Sam had just disappeared.

"Whatever man, don't stress about it. People get into fights all the time. Just leave 'im alone and he'll come around." Colby said.

"Yeah," Jake smiled "I guess you're right. He'll be okay."

Two days later, and all of the roommates were beginning to get a little concerned (A/N I made it two days cause I'm lazy and why not?)

None of them had seen Sam, and any attempts to get him out of his room were ignored.

He had sent a message to the group chat saying that he was fine, just needed some space.

"But honestly," Corey asked, "How much space could a guy need?"

The four of them, Jake, Devyn, Corey, and Colby were all sat in the living room. Jake and Colby sprawled out on the couch, Devyn and Corey laying on the floor on their stomachs.

In the background, some weird sci-fi movie was playing on the TV that none of them were paying attention to.

Devyn sat up so she could hit him. "Don't be insensitive; he's going through a hard time."

"A hard time by having a fight with his girlfriend?" Jake asked jokingly, leaning up on one elbow to peer down at where Devyn lay on the floor.

"It could've been a serious fight!" Devyn said defensively.

"Or, maybe he just couldn't get laid?" Jake waggled his eyebrows

Choruses of "gross!" and "Jake!" sounded from Colby, who had up to this point been playing on his phone, Corey and Devyn (A/N I've decided not to include Aaron in this and we'll just assume he's in his room playing Fortnite).

"Let's be serious." Corey said, finally turning his attention away from the movie and sitting up so he could better talk to everyone.

At this, Colby put down his phone and raised an eyebrow. "Aunt Corey did not just tell us to be serious. Am I hearing things?"

Jake nodded solemnly "Indeed, Aunt Corey did, in fact, tell us to be serious"

"C'mon guys" Devyn groaned, putting her face in her hands "There's something seriously wrong with Sam."
