Blue only proved Green right, much to my disappointment.

Vio was sitting down reading by the time they were done. They hadn't even gotten physical, but Blue still got hurt, he ran directly into a tree.

"What are you reading, Vio?" I asked, sitting next to him.

"A book," he said.

"What's it about?"

"A girl fell in love with another girl who died," he answered.

"Like you and Shadow?"

He froze. "Yes. Like me and Shadow."

"Do you really think this is going to work?"

"I hope it does, Red."

He flipped a page in his book, Blue had started pulling splinters out of his body, basically, he had pieces of wood all over his hands and face.

Vio looked up from his book, but only for a second. "Idiot."

"What was that, bookworm?"

"The both are you are idiots."

"Well, at least Green is included in that," Blue said, going back to his splinters.

I looked at Vio in awe. "How?"

He shrugged and kept reading his book and after a long time, we started moving again.

"So, where are we going?" I asked, Vio, who could apparently read while walking, although he stumbled quite a bit more.

"To the Tower of Winds, where we all last saw the Dark Mirror," Vio said, matter of factly. "It's going to take a while to get there and get all the pieces, not to mention, some might have fallen around the tower, but it's a good place to start."

I paused. "How does the ritual work?"

He frowned and conjured another book out of thin air and flipped through it, even though I knew he probably already had it memorized. "We need as many pieces of it as possible, the more mirror we have, the more successful this will all be. This also seems to require something that once belonged to the person we're trying to revive, something that belongs to the person doing the ritual, and a ton of candles."

"Green called it a satanical ritual."

"Yeah, well, that's what it pretty much is, but it shouldn't have too many negative effects. I'm not sure if we'll be able to find something that belonged to him." Vio sighed. "I know he had a dragon, and Auburn freaking loved him, but Auburn is too awesome to die, she deserves to live, I'm not sacrificing a dragon."

"He named his dragon Auburn?"

"He called one Cya. Like, Cyanide."

"That's a good name, but Aub--oh."

"Yeah." Vio sighed and looked up. The sun was starting to set. "We're going to need to stop soon, it's not safe to travel when it's night."

Blue and Green were still bickering.

"Want to help me break them up?" I asked him.

"Not really," he said, placing his book down and helping me anyway.
