He sat up suddenly, eyes widened and I thought he had gone crazy. "Holy fucking ugly duckling," he said, his eyes practically bulging out of his head.

I looked at hm, trying to think if I heard him right. "What?"

"I know what's going on, oh my Goddesses, Blue, I know."

"You know what?"

"Who those people in the forest are, where the Dark Mirror is, how to bring Shadow back, oh shit! Shit! I need to tell him!"

"Vio, you're getting kind of—"

"He isn't going to listen to me, though," he said, ignoring me. "Oh, I need to get through to him, is he gonna listen?"

"You aren't making any sense," I tried to say.

"No, he's still so angry, oh Goddesses, Blue!"

I don't think ever, I had seen him so happy. It had been a week after him and Shadow's spat and he had been so upset, but he was suddenly very excited. I wondered if him and Red switched tunics.

"I need to go to sleep," he said, suddenly, calming down slightly.

"It's the middle of the day," I told him.

"Yeah, but this is like, the only way to contact him and it can't wait."

He left.

"What the hell, Vio?" I asked, but there was a noticeable absence of him.
