Ch 17

---Nina’s POV---

   It was only Tuesday. Great. I rolled over and slapped my alarm clock off. I had NO motivation to get up for class today. Paige had A LOT of explaining to do. Why the fuck did she go into MY music room without MY permission and steal MY book? Was she seriously THAT desperate to get CC to like her even more? Was this to “boost” her chances of ever winning that contest? She’s pathetic.

   On a brighter note, it was SO great to have Mia back safe and sound, and it was great to meet Ella, also! I’m not mad at Ashley anymore, either. We’re talking a little more each day. He wanted me back, and I wanted him back, but I wasn’t gonna give in that easily. I needed to hear the full truth from him and why he would do that.

   I yawned and rolled out of bed to take a quick shower. I dried off and slipped on my undergarments before blow drying my hair. It was browning, meaning I had to re-dye it soon. The brown didn’t look half bad on me, though. I liked it, so I planned on dying my hair again after the brown wore off. I pulled half of my hair up, waterfall braiding either side, and left the rest down. I brushed my teeth, and then started on my makeup: eye liner on the bottom, and mascara on my top and bottom lashes.

   I was in a Hello Kitty mood today, so with my obsession, everything except my pants was hello kitty. I wore high waisted blue jeans with my outfit. What? I love the way they shape my hips, and they make my bum look fantastic! Not that I don’t have a bum already…After I got dressed, I threw on my cute Hello Kitty nerd glasses. After I looked myself over, I grabbed my book bag (Hello Kitty; No surprise there ;D), clutch, and strolled downstairs for an orange juice and cheese Danish.

   Once I pulled into the school parking lot, I got out and Mia was headed towards me with a smirk on her face. What was up with her? She looked fantastic, though!

“Hey, Mia! You look amazing!” I exclaimed.

“Thanks! Just thought I’d dress up a little sometimes.” She replied.

“I don’t waste my time and energy dressing up to go to this place.” I said plainly. She giggled.

“I can’t wait until this semester is over. Just one more month!” she sighed happily.

“I know! Then we have like two months to ourselves!” I exclaimed.

   Moments later, Danie walked up to us with concern written all over her. We gave her a puzzled look as she motioned for us to duck behind my car.

“Don’t look now, but CC’s here with Paige.” She muttered.

“Why?” Mia groaned.

“I still need to talk to that bitch about my book!” I snapped, getting up.

   Paige and CC were hand in hand, walking towards the dining hall. She still had a few bandages on her face from when Mia beat her up. Everyone’s eyes were on them; either in awe or in jealousy. Give me a break! How can ANYONE find their relationship even remotely cute? I stormed quickly behind them and grabbed Paige’s wrist.

“What is it, Nina?” she hissed. CC was giving me a confused look.

“WHY DID YOU STEAL MY SONG BOOK?” I yelled.

“WHAT? Ok, I have NO idea what you’re talking about.” She lied.

“Hmph, you sure about that? It was at the bvb house the other day and Maddie kindly returned it.” I smirked.
