Ch 20

---Mia’s POV---

   Reid and I were eating sushi and laughing our asses off about everything that happened in Vegas. Which reminded me; I need to see how Sydney is doing!

“You look lovely tonight.” He winked.

“Thank you.” I replied softly. I was still in my dress and heels from school.

“I’m so glad I met all of you!” I exclaimed.

“So am I, beautiful.” He winked. I blushed a deep shade of red.

“U-Uh, so, how’s Sydney?” I asked.

“She’s doing fine. Just put on 40 hours a week at work. She works everyday now for the extra cash.” He replied.

“That’s great! I haven’t texted her since I left Vegas.” I said upset.

“Then get on it! She’d love to hear from you! You’re one of her only friends you know.” He assured.

“I’ll text her later on tonight.” I smiled.

“We really need to hit up Vegas together again.” he said.

“That we do! I had such a great time! Uh, I have two people I’d like you to meet. One is a pretty big fan.” I said.

“We’re here until Friday evening! Bring them our way sometime before then. It’s always nice meeting fans.” He smiled.

“Yay! I’ll text them later, also! We can meet at In and Out!” I exclaimed.

“Sounds like a plan! I’ll talk to the guys later tonight and we can all chill.” He said.

   We finished our food in comfortable silence. Reid payed for everything and we left. As he was driving back to my house, my phone vibrated.

“MIA! I NEED YOU! PLEASE COME OVER AFTER YOUR DATE! PLEASE!? D:” –Nina

“Are you ok!? What happened!?”

“I’ll tell you when you get here…I just need you right now! I texted Danie…she’s on her way…I need you, Mia…” –Nina

“Ok! Reid is dropping me off at my house. We just got done on our date! After he drops me off, I’ll come your way, ok!?”

“Ok…ttyl.” –Nina

“Everything ok?” Reid asked with his eyes on the road.

“I think so. My friend needs me.” I replied.

“Is she ok? Want me to drive you there?” he asked, concerned.

“No babe. Thank you anyway. I’ll drive myself.” I smiled.

   Once he pulled up to my condo, I got out and went straight for my car. He rolled his window down to watch me. I forgot to thank him! I quickly turned around and walked towards his car.

“Thanks for tonight. I had fun.” I smiled warmly.

“No problem. I don’t know when we’ll see each other again after Friday, but this isn’t the last date we’ll have.” He said with a wink.

“Haha, see you around!” I replied, walking towards my car.

---Nina’s POV---

   Danie got here first. We were in the living room watching the video again. I couldn’t believe Paige would do something like this! I’ve been fighting back tears all day.

“I’m so sorry, Nina.” Danie said softly.

“It’s ok. They’re gonna pay.” I replied coldly.
