I stormed out of the restaurant straight to my car. I drove straight to Mia’s on the verge of tears. Which ever one of those three deleted my video, they were gonna fucking pay! I know I was shy and had stage fright and all, but that was NO right to delete my video. Once I got to Mia’s condo, I ran to the second floor and rang the bell.

“Hey, you needed to talk! Cute outfit by the way!” she exclaimed.

“Well, some bastard deleted my video from the contest.” I said dryly, sitting on the couch.

“Who?” Maddie chimed in from the kitchen. “Wait let me guess, Paige, CC or Britt?” she smirked.

“Pft. Who knows? I wouldn’t put it past them, though.” I huffed.

“They REALLY need lives.” Mia sighed.

“Ya think?” Maddie laughed.

“So, what’s on the agenda for today?” Mia asked.

“You tell us, you’re the one dressed up. Cute, though.” I laughed.

“I told you! I just kinda like dressing up now.” She fidgeted.

“Mhm. It’s because of that little vaycay to Vegas.” Maddie smirked.

“AND you wanna fuck with someone’s head.” I winked.

“OK! You caught me!” Mia whined, raising her hands.

“Just let him wallow in his mistake of a ‘life’. It’s bad enough he left the band.” Maddie said.

“True that, but I still wanna fuck with him.” Mia smirked.

“Uh, how?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Reid.” Mia simply said.

“Oh god.” Maddie and I groaned.

“I talked to him Friday, so don’t worry. We’re friends only now. He didn’t exactly wanna date me when I’m so confused.” She explained.

“So? Andy was right? You don’t hate CC as much as you think?” Maddie asked.

“Unfortunately not…my 95% hate turned into a 90%...I don’t know what’s wrong with me.” she sighed.

“You’re in a phase. You liked Reid, but when you used to like CC, you had left over feelings, hence slightly liking him 10%. You were peeved when he started dating Paige, because you used to like him. Am I right?” I asked putting a hand on her shoulder. She slowly nodded.

“And you still kinda like Reid, so that makes things a bit more complicated. You’re using a friend you’re trying not to like to get back at someone you used to. Right?” Maddie asked calmy.

“Yeah. Pretty much.” Mia sighed. “I DID set Reid up with Danie though. That’s the least I could do for him.” she smiled.

“Haha, already looking at other girls after your little hook up?” Maddie laughed.

“I was really cool with it. He told me he kinda liked her, so I secretly gave him her number.” Mia giggled.

“How sweet.” I said in awe.

“Well, ladies, let’s watch a movie or something because I got a hot date with white rabbit at 7!” Maddie exclaimed.

“You guys have the cutest nicknames!” I smiled.

“That’s what I said! After this, we’re hittin’ the streets!” Mia winked.

   I shook my head at her as Maddie played around with the TV to pop in a movie. Mia was in the kitchen making popcorn and pouring soda. This is exactly what I needed. I decided to text mum and dad, apologizing about running out on our get together like that.
