Jennie's P.O.V.
"Uuu, Jennie and Taeyong are together!" Jisoo kept exclaiming while jumping up and down on our way home. Since it was Friday night, we figured it would be nice to have a sleepover in which we could discuss some Yoongi stuff.
"Jisoo, stop", I said, sighing for the millionth time ever since she had started this. "It makes me uncomfortable, really. We aren't together. It's fake. It's just to make Yeri get over him. It was Tzuyu's fault, if that helps! I'm just in the middle, confused as hell and too polite to shout no."
"Well think about it", she began again, as if she didn't hear anything of what I had just said. "Now that Yoongi will know you have a boyfriend, it will give him less to think about you still liking him, and you can flirt without your feelings becoming obvious. Right?"
"Ha, help me God!" I exclaimed with a short, but loud mocking laugh. "How even can I flirt? I'll start sweating and shaking as if I have a squirrel in my underwear, and he'll think I'm a weird bitch. I'm nothing like his precious Sana, right?"
I rolled my eyes and clicked my tongue, looking at the houses around us as we entered Jisoo's compound.
"Still", Jisoo said, still appearing to be very convinced by her own sayings. "Yoongi and Sana won't last - they've been fighting a lot lately, and have been very close to breaking up twice or thrice. You can end this fake Taeyong relationship thing once Yoongi is done with Sana. After all, if Taeyong can use you against Yeri, you can also use him against Yoongi."
I took a moment and gave a deeper thought to Jisoo's words. I realized she was right. If Taeyong made Yeri jealous using me, I could make Yoongi jealous using him. I mean, of course, once he's done with Sana - now, he literally seems not to give a fine fuck about me and my existence as a human being.
"You and Taeyong actually used to be a thing last year. Remember?" Jisoo said, and laughed slowly. "Ah, memories!"
"Pfft, yeah, memories my ass", I said, sighing and rolling my eyes once again. "He was dating Sana back then, just like Yoongi is dating her now. Why the fuck is it always Sana?! I don't get it! Ugh! Can't we just be friends without always having to fight over boys?!"
"I guess it's your faith, Jen", Jisoo sighed too.
After a few minutes of silence in which we walked through Jisoo's compound, we got into the house. We realized it was getting late, and went to her house. We had kimchi fried rice for dinner, got into our pyjamas and tried to stay up late, but fell asleep instantly.
"You know, I should get over Yoongi", I said to Jisoo before going to sleep. "He hurts me. He's no good to me and my lifestyle. And he isn't worth all of my effort. You know what, I'm done. I'm over him."
I turned to the other side of the bed, and closed my eyes.
The moment it happened, my dream of Yoongi began.
