Jennie's P.O.V.
"I can't believe Mrs. Shin just gave us a test. Like, on the spot!" Jisoo exclaimed, for the tenth time in the last 5 minutes. "Is that even legal? Well probably not. I'm sure it's against school policy. Exactly, it is! So, why would she do it?! If I get a low grade, it's because of her. And if my parents kill me for getting that low grade, it's still because of her. Everything is because of her!"
She rolled her eyes, sighed and pouted.
"Whatever. I'll try to figure something out. Well, hopefully I'll get a good grade, but...anyways. I'll go to the bathroom, and then we can go to the cinema. Aight?"
She waved at me as she smiled widely, and left. She kept getting farther and farther, till her thin silhouette and heavy backpack completely disappeared. I sighed and realized I was alone on the school hallway. I was just plainly and blankly standing there, alone, waiting for Jisoo to come back. My facial expression showed no emotions - I mean, I couldn't see it, but I could feel it. I was just standing there, thinking of Yoongi and Sana and how he left me for her and of how she subtly sold our friendship for him. How she slightly ignored me now, how she felt slightly awkward around me cause I was her boyfriend's ex, and how she got slightly jealous and indignant when I talked about him and wasn't expressing hate. And how I slightly resented her due to jealousy. I might have been his ex, but she is his current big love.
How it all fell apart ever since they became a thing, and I was left behind.
That very moment, someone approached from behind, and caught me by the waist.

Taeyong. Great, what the fuck can I even say.

"Hey, beautiful", he said, and smiled at me.
"Hey", I said, and sighed trying to fake a smile, still stuck on the Yoongi and Sana thoughts. "How are ya?"
"I was doing good, but now that I saw my beautiful girlfriend, I'm doing absolutely great", he said, seeming quite cheerful and energetic.
I laughed.
"Taeyong, we're alone. Can you see it? There's nobody here now. You don't have to pretend."
He pouted.
"Who said I was pretending?" he widened his eyes. "We may be faking the relationship, but I'm not faking my feelings."
I started trembling, just like I did when Jisoo told me about how I was shouting Yoongi's name in my sleep that morning.
"W-What?" I stuttered, slightly shocked.
"I like you, Jennie."
And he turned his back, running as he left. He looked back a few times and smiled widely at me, but I had no reaction. I was just there, stuck as a huge, heavy piece of stone.
Oh, shit.
