Jin sighed as JungMin kicked his short legs back and forth being that they were midair from touching the ground.

"Mr Kim? We're ready for you" the headmaster announced, peeking out from his office door.
Jin took JungMins hand silently and made his way inside, taking a seat on the rather large chair infront of his desk - providing a little pick up help for JungMin as he was too small.

"Now, I want to talk to you about JungMins school attitude" the headmaster started off bad.
"What's wrong with his attitude?"
"He was an excellent, fantastic student at the start, and his work was clearly impressive, but has slowly been degrading recently. We're not sure why. We've asked him, but to no avail"
"JungMin?" Jin glanced down at a solemn JungMin, his hair covering his chubby little face.
"In classes he refuses to do work, and barely socialises anymore with his friends, stays by himself on the playground. We recently had a test,"
"Test? What test?" Jin watched as he opened a metal draw in a three tier file cabinet, pulling out a test paper.
The headmaster turned to him, "he didn't tell you?"
"No, we weren't informed about any test"
The headmasters eyebrows furrowed momentarily before he continued. "We do tests after every topic, making sure kids are on track. Usually JungMin would get top marks, past all the other kids, but, with this one.." he handed Jin the paper, and his mouth made the shape of an 'o'.
"5 out of 20?!" Jins eyes shot to JungMin, still in the exact same position.
"We asked him if he's been having some trouble with the work we're giving him, but he won't answer"
"What are we to do then?" Jin asked desperately.
"Hire a tutor?"
"Already checked off the list" Jin murmured, disappointed.

The headmaster sighed, "maybe it would be best to just have a small word with him. Make time for him yourself, I know how hard you work, being an idol is hard-"
"I'm not an idol anymore. I mainly own my restaurant" Jin corrected.
"I know" he nodded, smiling politely, "but even with the restaurant, there's barely any time spent with JungMin" he reasoned and Jin exhaled.
"Thank you for informing me about this, I'll be sure to get this fixed soon" Jin heaved up from his seat, calling for JungMin as he headed to the door.
~
"JungMin, is there anything you want to talk about?" Jin questioned, keeping his eyes on the road.
"Mh hm" a small moan indicated a 'no' came from JungMin.
"Nothing? Why is your work effort not as good? Why did you not tell us about that test?" Jin bombarded, not noticing the deeply saddened expression on JungMins innocent child face.
With no answer, Jin suspired, defeated, leaving the matter behind until you came home.
~
"I'm home!" You yelled, locking the door.
"EOMMA!" MinSeo giggled, running up to give you a big hug as you leant down to return it.
"Hi sweetie, how was your day today?"
"I had sooo much fun at school. We did arts and crafts and we used clay and I made Bomi!"  (Bo-mi is your dog)
"Ahaha, you did?"
"Yeah. The teacher said they have to bake it first" she pouted, "so maybe I'll get it tomorrow! Oh oh" she hastily added, "and Jiwoo said she's going to Hawaii when school finishes so I said that we're going to mars and-"
"Wait, mars?" You repeated, making sure you heard that right. You hung your jacket on a hanger and put it in the coat cupboard that was pushed up against the right wall to the door.
