Your POV

The streets of Scaleswind are crowded today. Not an ideal situation for myself. I walk, almost through the idling people staring and pointing at the markets on either side of the street. I peer through the crowd, searching for someone. My target. My grey cloak covers my F/C tinted armor from the back and sides. It also hides my daggers and bow, along with my quiver and throwing knives. My iron boots thump quietly as I walk. The cloak hides my H/L H/C and my facial features.

I stop and peer down an alleyway. I smile as I search it. I turn and walk into it, glancing back occasionally. I reach a drain pipe and start to climb up it, using the loose bricks in the wall to boost myself up further. I reach the top in a matter of seconds. I crouch and peer down at the streets. Much easier now. I grab my bow and an arrow. I search the streets until I see him.

"There you are..." I mumble, smiling to myself. My smile fades as I watch him walk closer. I crouch on a beam protruding off of the roof. People look up at me, but I'm not too bothered. They lazily go back to what they're doing after a long glance. The man I've been sent to kill is surrounded by three guards. Two by his sides and one a few steps behind him. He was a large man, with a receding hairline and wearing expensive and regal clothing.

I line up my shot, stepping a few steps back. I bring my arrow down until it's just above his head. My arrow follows him until he's directly beneath me. He steps into position and I fire. A crack echoes through the otherwise busy streets. It's these jobs that make me question if I truly want this life or not.

I shake my head and look blankly at the crowd below. Citizens scatter, running and screaming in every way. The guards looked stunned as they immediately whip out their broadswords and look around, frantically. I merely step back and jump off the roof, sliding down the same pole I climbed up. I walk through the alleyway and down the street normally. Unlike anything ever happened. The guards are too busy with the guy to investigate me. I look back at them. Two of the guards were holding the limp corpse up, while the other one was nowhere to be seen. I look closer. The arrow I had shot went straight for the head. I turn back around and sigh. I didn't know who he was, I was just given a description and a name. That's all.

"Excuse me." I feel a hand on my shoulder. A rough voice makes me stop.
"Did you see who was responsible for this murder?" He asks impatiently. I don't turn around yet. I pause for a moment before I do turn to face him. He wore a helmet, as well as iron armor with the Scaleswind emblem marked on it. I shrug and shake my head.
"I'm sorry, no I haven't. Good luck in you're investigation though." I say curtly. He nods slowly, trying to see my features. I stand blankly. He grunts before turning away and walking to other villagers. I turn and walk towards the entry gate quickly, ignoring the situation.

I walk out of town with no further complications. Task complete.
