I stare at the ceiling, bored out of my mind. Aphmau has bound me to a bed while I recover from the stab wound. No matter how many times I tell her it's fine, she ignores it. I appreciate the concern, but I would rather be doing anything else at the moment. I look to my left to see a deep blue potion. A sleeping potion. Aph told me to take it if I couldn't sleep. I lazily reach over and swipe it from the bed side table. I pop the cork and drink about half of it. The taste is odd, almost like mint and blueberries. I put it back and cuddle the pillow, drifting off to sleep.

I feel a presence above me. Who or what was it? I slowly open my eyes to see ruffled blonde hair and calm icy blue eyes.
"Hey Garroth." I mumble lazily. He seems frozen.
"H-Hey. Sorry f-for waking you..." He says apologetically. I shake my head and sit up.
"It's fine. How long was I out for?" I ask. I notice a blush creeping onto his face.
"A-About six hours." He replies.

"I brought you food, but I-I couldn't decide whether to wake you or not." He says, scratching the back of his neck and motion with his other to the food. I smile and nod.
"Aw thanks." I notice the food on my bedside table. Looked like two giant sausage rolls and some sauce. I cross my legs and place the plate on my lap. I hold up a sausage roll. It looked so good. I wave it in front of me.
"You can have the other one if you want." I say, welcoming him to take the sausage roll. He pauses for a second.
"I-Is it truly alright?" I nod and smile.
"Of course! As long as you don't take all the sauce." I giggle. He smiles before grabbing a chair and sitting backwards on it in front of me.
"Thanks." He takes on and takes a bite. We both eat in a comfortable silence.

"Y'know." I say, licking the pastry off my fingers, "It's nice to have company. I'm not a fan of being bed bound." He nods as he takes my plate.
"I could imagine. Aph just wants you too be at your best." He explains, chuckling a little. I shrug and step out of bed. Stretching my legs immediately.
"Much better."

Garroth's POV

I put the plate by the door and turn to see Y/N out of bed. My eyes drift to what she's wearing. A white top that reveals some of her stomach and white short shorts. I realize that I'm probably staring. I blush and rip my gaze away, looking at anything else. The image of the slash mark on her stomach planted in my mind.
"Revealing much..." Y/N mumbles. "Do you know where my armor and everything is?" I look to the closet.
"Y-Yeah. The c-closet." I say, my voice shrinking. Gah, Garroth stop. It's just clothes. I turn back to her looking out the window. She's really lean and has a perfect tan. I pry my gaze away again. Okay so maybe it's not just clothes...

"Thanks. Could you wait outside? I won't be a minute." I blush more.
"O-Of c-course!" I stutter, practically running out the door. I close it and lean against it. I sigh as one main thought crosses my mind. She looked good.

Your POV

A couple of minutes later and all my armor was on, along with my weapons. Daggers on my boots, my bow and arrows on my back and my scale chest plate was looking good. Someone definitely cleaned them... A open the door to see Garroth leaning against the wall. He smiles when I look at him.
"Sorry for the wait." I say, closing the door. He shakes his head.
"Not a problem."

We walk out of the house and start our small search for Aphmau. I had to inform her that I was fine and no longer staying at her house. Garroth tagged along, staying by my side. If felt nice to have someone beside me. We walk to the guards tower, since he suggested that we check it out. I obliged and walked up the spiral stairs with him. Not much space, but it was at least practical. The towers I've raided in the past have had more complicated systems then this.

We reach the top to see Aphmau talking with Aaron. It seems a one way conversation. Or Aaron was just listening and allowing her to talk. They both look at us when we approach, with Aphmau having a shocked and worried expression.
"Y/N! What are you doing? You're not meant to be walking!" She shouts, her eyes widening. I smile brightly and pat her shoulder.

"Thanks for your concern, but I'm fine. Really." I reassure her. Her face falls and she sighs heavily.
"If you insist. Just tell me if it hurts later on." She huffs. I grin.
"I'll be sure too." I say, waving behind me and walking away.

I make it about halfway down the stairs before Garroth trots down them behind me. He walks beside me as we walk out the guards tower.
"I can't get rid of you that easily huh?" I giggle. He glances at me for a second before blushing a bit.
"Well, I could go if you really wanted." He says, waiting for my reply. I bite my lip and stop.
"It was a joke. I love your company." I smile, tilting my head slightly. He seems to freeze for a moment. He looks at me and I can't help but stare back, a stupid grin plastered to my face. I try, but I can't rip my gaze away. What's happening? After what feels like a silenced eternity, I blink and continue to walk, leaving behind a stunned and blushing Garroth. What is with me?
