Your POV

The guys all fight a guy while I'm left in the middle with no weapons. I see that Garroth was battling Zane. Zane looked livid. His eyes were the angriest I've ever seen them. Garroth fought back with the same intensity. Their blades slashing and words like venom. I turn around just in time to dodge a sword about to slice me open. I step back and grab the attackers hand, making him flinch. I spin around him and twist his hand behind him, making him drop his sword. I hit his head a few times against the stage before letting him roll off. The audience were either screaming or cheering on. They are a strange bunch.

I turn to see that Zane had the upper hand on Garroth, making him take a few steps back. All while shouting insults. I scoff and pick up the guys blade. It's not the best, but it will do. I sneak behind Zane and prepare to attack him. I run up behind him, but a guy in the audience shouted. "Zane! Behind you!" I mentally facepalm as Zane pushes Garroth away and turns around to dodge me and grab my throat. I accidentally drop the sword and start to struggle. I bring my knee up and knee him in the jaw. He lets go off me and his hand instinctively reaches for his jaw.

I see Garroth stand up and tremble with anger. He whips Zane around and punches him square in the jaw. He kicks him off the stage and looks to me.
"Are you okay?" He asks, quickly examining me. I nod and shake my hands.
"I'm all good. Let's go." I say, jumping off the stage and running through the crowd. I turn to see the guys running after me.

I make it to the gate, knocking out some guards on the way as well. I wait for them and follow as they grab their horses. I let out a girly scream when I see that they brought Domino. Garroth turns and grins at me when he unties Domino's rein. I thank him and jump on the giant horse. We all get on in time to see a crowd of guards rush towards us.

"Yah!" I whip his reins and we ride out of town, thundering hooves disrupting the forest tranquility.
"Thanks for saving me, guys." I yell, looking behind me. They all share a wide smile.
"Anytime. We don't want you dying on us anytime soon." Laurence says, riding beside me on Highlander. I smile and look ahead. Time to go.

We all trot into town, the guys waving to anyone who waved to them. I stop and get off, ready to walk Domino the rest of the way to the stables. I see Cloud march up beside me and nuzzle me.
"Cloud!" I hear Garroth yell. I grab its reins and pet it. It neighs and nudges Domino. Garroth rushes up and squeezes himself in between Cloud and I. I giggle at him pushing the white beast back. He turns to me and takes the reins.
"S-Sorry, she distracted me while she slipped out." He says apologetically. I hear chuckles behind us.

"Damn Garroth, your horse has more game then you!" I hear Travis say. Garroth goes red and turn to shout at him. He marches towards them and drops the reins. I pick them back up and lead them both to the stables. I pet Cloud as I look at her.
"So your a girl... okay." I mumble.

I put them in their stables and feed them. They were next to each other so it was easier to do.
"Good horses." I say as I feed them both a carrot. I hear hooves and hear the guys chatting.
"S-Sorry about that, a-allow me." Garroth says, standing beside me and gently taking the carrots that Cloud was munching on. I lean on the fence and stand on my tip toes to pet Domino.

"I wasn't told that Cloud was a girl. Though I should've guessed..." I mumble. I look to Garroth petting Cloud and smiling.
"Yeah, she's the only female in here. And the prettiest." He says in a goofy voice, hugging her neck, she neighs in response. I can't help but giggle.
"That's cute. I still need Domino to fully warm up to me." I say, stroking his snout. I see Garroth redden out of the corner of my eye.

I turn to see that the other guys had left. When did they go? Or have we been here for so long that they just left? I shrug and turn to Garroth. I freeze when I notice him staring at me.
"Y-Y/N, I-I wanted to say that you should s-stop this assassin job of yours... I c-couldn't bare it if you were hurt or killed..." He says softly. I look down and nod.
"I guess so. Just for you though." I smile. He lets out a sigh of relieve and steps forwards. I freeze as he engulfs me in a hug. I hug back after a few seconds.
"Thank you." He mumbles.

After what seems a sweet forever, he lets go. I see he's blushing up a storm. I guess I am a little as well. We both walk out and close the doors, making sure the horses don't escape somehow. We walk back to the plaza and see a very relieved Aphmau. We explain everything. She jumps on me and hugs me. I sigh and hug back. This is what friends do I guess.
