Your POV

"Stables." I read aloud. It was a big, brown barn that was in the corner of the village. I wanted to see all the horses and maybe ride one. I push the doors open, making light pour into the dimly lit room. The horses neigh at my arrival. I see someone's head whip around.
"Oh Y/N, hey!" I see Dante stand up and throw down a rag while walking towards me.
"Hey Dante." I wave. He walks up to me and smiles.
"Let me guess, you wanted to see the horses?" He asks smugly. I shrug.
"Something like that." I smile. He nods and motions for me to follow.

We walk up to the first horse along the line of stables. He had a short brown mane with brown and white spots. He sticks his head above his fence to look at us. He huffs and swishes his ears around.
"That's Highlander, Laurence's horse." Dante says, petting it. I smile and stroke it nose. We walk on to the next. It was a pure white horse. I look to Dante.
"And this is?" I ask. He smiles.
"This is Garroth's horse, Cloud." He says chuckling. I smile. It's simple but cute. I pet its mane as it huffs and rubs its stout against my face.
"Aww. Hi Cloud." I giggle.

We walk to the next. It was a brown with black patches. He had a short, stubby mane.
"That's Law. Aaron's horse." Dante says. Law doesn't look at us, he just flicks his tail and huffs. The one beside him perks up and beckons for us to come over. He nudges me when we walk over. He was half white and half grey, with a dark grey, long mane.
"He's friendly." I comment, cuddling the horses head as he nudged me. Dante chuckles.
"That's Travis' horse, Prince Charming. Really lives up to his name." He says sarcastically. I giggle and pet his neck.

I hear a huff and turn to see a pure black horse nudging the frame of its stable. I wave and walk on, petting the pure black one.
"Woah, he's huge." I gasp. I had to stand on my tip toes to pet the top of its head. Dante chuckles.
"Yeah, that's a new one. No one can really tame him, so he just stays here. He's a good horse though." He says. I raise an eyebrow.
"Why can't anyone tame him?" I ask. He shrugs.
"Well, he normally bucks people off. And some people can't even haul themselves atop him." I look at the horse. I can see why.

"Can I try?" I ask. He nods slowly before opening his gate and leading him out. He plants a saddle on his back and fastens it. I pet him as he does this. I step a few paces back and take a running start before I jump on. I barely make it and sit atop him with a proud smirk. I grab ahold of the reins and beam down at Dante. He smiles brightly.
"Good job! Hang on." He says, dashing off.

I watch him lead out another horse. This one was grey speckled and had a white mane and tail. He jumps on and makes his horse stand next to me.
"This is Captain, my horse." He says, petting him. "How about we go for a ride?" He says, riding out the door. I nod and tug on the reins making my horse follow.
"What are you going to call him? He likes you." Dante shouts backwards. I pause.
"Domino." I reply. I see him nod.
"Nice name."

We stroll through town and head for the gates. I see Garroth and Laurence both talking in front of it. They both turn to face us when we approach. Dante and I get off of our horses and hold their leads.
"Hey!" I wave, holding Domino's lead. They both raise an eyebrow.
"Wow. You tamed him. What's his name?" Laurence asks astonished. I beam with pride.
"Domino." I say, petting the big horse. He neighs and rubs his head against my cheek in response. I giggle as he does.
"Mind if we go out?" Dante asks, pretty much knowing the answer. They both nod.
"Did you meet our horses?" Garroth asks, smirking. I nod.
"Yup! They're all adorable." I smile. Laurence scoffs.
"I bet you liked Cloud." I grin and nod. I see Garroth blush a little, knowing that that's his horse.
"I liked them all, that one just has the most adorable name." I say confidently.

The gate opens and we stare out of it. I hop back on Domino and tug hard on his reins, making him rear and neigh. He shakes his mane before landing back down. I cheer and trot out of the gates. I turn to see the guys' surprised expressions. I turn back around and whip the reins, making him run.
"Yah!"
