Your POV

"Get up!" I hear a gruff voice pull me out of my sleep. I shake my head awake and look up. I glare at whoever was responsible. An O'Khasis soldier was towering over me, smiling.
"Get up. Your hanging is soon." He states, emotionless. I grunt a response as he walks away. How I would love to get up and knock that smile off his face...

I stand and stretch, looking out the small window behind me. The sun was barely rising beyond the horizon. I sigh and turn to the cell door opening. Zane steps out and closes it.
"Are you ready to see all your angry victims?" He asks menacingly. He doesn't scare me. I shrug.
"Sure. I'll see to their opinions about you while I'm up there. That'll be interesting." I smirk.
His cockily look disappears. I smirk, knowing that was the best result I've gotten yet. He grunts and turns away.
"The guards will collect you soon L/N." he spits. I wave.
"Okay cheers." I grin. He slams the door behind him, clearly mad. I slump against the wall and chuckle to myself. Even in my dying moments, I still love to mess with people.

Garroth's POV

We tie the horses off at a post in front of the gates. We wear cloaks over our armor so there's no suspicions. I look behind us at the opened gate. It was turning dawn. The guards were drowsy, so they didn't question us that much. That was good for us. We stroll through the town and see people already bustling about. They seem in a rush.

I stop a man who looked happy walking in front of us. He pauses when I address him.
"Why is everyone up so early? Is there something happening?" I ask, masking my voice slightly because of my helmet. He gives me a dumbfounded look.
"Of course! There's a hanging just after dawn. Everyone's getting ready." He says, as if I'm stupid for asking. I grit my teeth.
"And who might that be?" I ask innocently. He groans slightly.
"Y/N L/N. Duh." He scoffs, hastily walking off. My heart drops when he says that.
"Rude." Laurence mumbles.
"At least we know what's happening now." Dante says, frowning. I nod slowly.

We head up to a staging area with people already crowding around. A hanging platform. We all exchange glances before making our way to the front. We push past some cheering people as we see who's already up there. My heart sinks as I watch.
"Y/N." I gasp. She was being man handled and pushed towards the noose.
"Could you not? I know how to walk." She says, very upset. I was about to march up there when I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn to see Aaron shaking his head.
"We'll wait until their in position. Patience." He ushers. I face the front and grit my teeth. I won't allow them to harm her.

The crowd cheers as she's placed on the platform under the noose. She stands beside the stool and frowns. Zane walks on the stage and the audience grows quiet.
"Today, we have captured the notorious assassin Y/N L/N. She has killed many and shows no remorse to her victims." He bellows. A few claps erupt from the audience at his short speech. I look longingly at my brother. Why baby brother? Why?

"Any last words L/N?" He asks, turning to her. Her hands are cuffed behind her back. She sits down on the stool and huffs.
"Yeah. What the hell? This is really interrupting my day." She huffs. Short lived laughter erupts from the crowd. Us being the main source. Zane glares out into the sea and it all stops.
"A poor choice of last words." He grumbles. She beams.
"Anything to annoy you in my final moments." She says confidently. These aren't your final moments...

"Guards!" He yells. They all spring into action and pick her up from the stool. They make her stand on it. A devious smirk shows on her face. She jumps up and brings her hands below and in front of her. She kicks the nearest guard in the face and jumps on the other one. She quickly unites the rope around her wrists and turns to Zane. He looked mad. He had his sword out and was ready to attack.
"Fine. If you won't allow death to take you, then I'll make you die!" He says, rushing towards her.

Your POV

I didn't plan this far ahead... I get ready to dodge his first attack when someone jumps on the stage and blocks the blow with a sword of his own. My eyes go wide when I realize who it is.
"Garroth?" I whisper, almost to myself. Then, Laurence, Travis, Dante and Aaron all jump up, their swords out and ready. I shake my head and grin.
"Okay, this is happening."
