#12. Tyler Seguin

You walked around the bedroom quietly, trying your hardest not to wake Tyler.  You walked back into the bathroom connected to the bedroom to ensure everything was in place.  Once you saw that everything was to your liking, I walked over to your closet and slipped into the victory green lacy bra and panties set you had bought especially for this occasion. You looked in the mirror and applied a light layer of lipgloss and ran your fingers through your hair to add a little volume as well. You gently walked back over to the bed once you were satisfied with how you looked.  You gently crawled on top of your sleeping boyfriend.  He began to stir and after a few moments his eyes fluttered open.  His eyes widened when he realized you were sitting on top of him wearing his team's colors.
"Baby...you look incredible." He said in his sexy morning voice.
God, you could listen to that morning voice for the rest of your life.
"Happy Birthday." You said placing a kiss onto his lips.
"You remembered." He laughed.
"How could I forget?" You laughed.
Tyler laughed and his hands began exploring your body.
"Want one of your gifts now?" You winked.
"Of course." He grinned.
"So, since you're 26 today, I wanted to wake you up with 26 kisses and 26 reasons why I love you." You explained.
Tyler smiled up at you as he waited for you to begin.
You reached down and placed a gentle kiss on his lips.
"Number one, I love the way you look at me before you kiss me.  Your eyes are always so full of love."
You placed a kiss on his left cheek.
"Number two, I love the way you always make sure I'm safe when we go somewhere.  You always make sure I feel safe and comfortable and would never put me in any sort of danger."
You placed a kiss on his right cheek.
"Number three, the way you hate when other men touch me.  Even when Jamie hugs me, you always get so jealous and it is so sexy."
You placed a kiss on his forehead.
"Number four, how you skate.  It sounds crazy, but watching you skate on the ice turns me on so much.  You're just so powerful and it is so hot."
You placed another kiss on his lips.
"Number five, how you completely changed for me.  How you stopped partying and stopped hanging out with your questionable friends to be with me.  You became a different person just so that I would love you"
You placed a kiss on his chest.
"Number six, how you always check up on me when you're on the road.  You always make sure I'm home and that I've eaten and that I'm happy."
You placed another kiss on his lips.
"Number seven, how you can practically read my mind.  You know when I'm uncomfortable, when you know if I'm afraid or whatever it may be...you always know exactly what I am feeling."
You placed a kiss on the right side of his neck.
"Number eight, how if you're home, you cannot fully go to sleep unless I'm in bed next to you."
You placed a kiss on the left side of his neck.
"Number nine, how you know exactly what to say to calm me down.  I get so emotional sometimes and you are the only one who can relax me again."
You placed a kiss on his left bicep.
"Number ten, I love your tattoos and all of their meanings and I love that some of them, only I know the meaning of."
You placed a kiss on his right bicep.
"Number eleven, I love that you have my initials tattooed on your arm and that it's hidden.  I'm sure people know it's there, but they really have to look for it to find it."
You placed another kiss on his lips.
"Number twelve, how you love Marshall, Cash and Gerry like they're literally our children.  It makes me so excited for when we do have kids one day.  You're going to be such an incredible father."
You placed a kiss on his right shoulder.
"Number thirteen, how you alway make me feel like the most beautiful woman in the room.  Even when we're at events with tons of models and beautiful women, your eyes are always on me."
You placed a kiss on his left shoulder.
"Number fourteen, how you are so protective of me.  You're always so cautious with me when we're around new people and it makes me feel so incredibly safe."
You placed a kiss on his right side.
"Number fifteen, how you take care of me when I forget to.  When I'm stressed out and forget to eat, you always notice and you bring me healthy snacks and don't leave until you know I've eaten."
You placed a kiss on his left side.
"Number sixteen, how you always put me first.  A few weeks ago, when I was sick and you had practice, you called the coach and you just said you weren't going.  You didn't even give it a second thought because you knew I needed you."
You kissed his right hip.
"Number seventeen, when you post pictures of me on your instagram stories. You always make me look so good and it makes me feel amazing that you want to show me off like that."
You kissed his left hip.
"Number eighteen, how you waited for me.  When we first met, I was so unsure of you because of everything I heard and you literally stopped talking to all of the girls you were talking to at the time and focused completely on me.  It made me realize that what we had was different and worth giving it a shot."
You placed a kiss on his lips again.
"Number nineteen, how much you love hockey.  I literally love how huge of a part hockey is in your life.  It's so incredibly sexy to see you have such a passion for it and seeing how hard you work and how badly you want to be the best."
You placed another kiss on his lips.
"Number twenty, how you taught me so much about hockey. Our second date, we literally sat on your couch and cuddled while we watched a Nashville vs Philadelphia game. You explained every little detail to me and you didn't made fun of me when I asked a million questions."
You moved down his boy and placed a kiss on his abs.
"Number twenty-one, how you work so hard to look so good.  I love watching you workout because it's so sexy and always turns me on."
You placed a kiss right right along his v-line.
"Number twenty-two, you always apologize when you're wrong.  Even if I've made you so angry and we get into a big fight, you're always the first to come to me and apologize because you can't stand the thought of me being upset with you."
You placed another kiss on his chest.
"Number twenty-three, how you are so committed to me and to our future.  You are always talking about what our life is going to be like when we're married with kids of our own and it makes me so happy that you want those things as badly as I do."
You placed a kiss on his lips.
"Number twenty-four, you always include me in big decisions.  When you were negotiating your contract with Dallas, you included me in it as much as you could because of how important I am to you."
You placed another kiss on his lips.
"Number twenty-five, you support me through absolutely anything.  You have been so supportive of me through school and the stress that has come along with it.  You literally always tell me how I can graduate and how proud of me you are.  It literally makes school so much easier knowing I have such a great support system at home."
You placed another kiss on his lips, this time lingering a little longer than the other kisses.
"And number twenty-six, I love how much I love you.  I am constantly craving your touch and just need you near me.  I still get butterflies in my stomach when I see you.  I am totally, 100%, in love with you, Tyler.  I could not imagine going through this crazy life without you by my side.  I am so lucky that you fell in love with me as hard as I did for you.  I love you so much Ty, Happy Birthday." You whispered suddenly feeling emotional.
You looked down at Tyler and noticed his eyes had become glossy as emotion overcame him as well.  He pulled you down so you were flush against him.
"Baby, that is the best gift anyone has ever given me.  I love you so much, thank you." He whispered in your ear before kissing your temple.
"Can I give you one more gift?" You asked sitting up.
"Another one?" Tyler laughed.
"Mmhmm, close your eyes and no peeking!" You warned.
Tyler closed his eyes and as you slowly walked into the bathroom you kept your eyes on him making sure he wasn't opening them.  You scooped up Tyler's gift off of the bathroom floor and walked back into the bedroom, sitting in front of Tyler.  You held the gift out in between you and Tyler.
"Okay, open them." You smiled.
His eyes opened and landed on what you were holding; a puppy.  Tyler had a yellow, chocolate and black lab, all that was missing was a silver one and when you saw him online, you knew Tyler would love him.
"Are you serious?" He asked gently taking the puppy from you.
You laughed at how excited he was.
"Am I a great girlfriend or what?" You asked with a smirk.
"Babe, you are the best girlfriend that has ever lived." Tyler replied pulling you into his side as you both played with the new puppy.
"Thank you for making my birthday so special.  I'm so lucky to have you." He whispered into your ear.
You smiled feeling the love in Tyler's voice.
