A/N: This is just a quick little cool down chap

It's been a dog fight all night for that final spot in the Denver State Championship. West Caperton and Trinidad have been battling back and forth since the first kickoff.

The Ranger's offense started to come off the field after Jackson fumbled the ball. He was knocked off his feet by two heavy hitters. He was on the ground for maybe a millisecond before he jumped up.

"You too much of a pussy to tackle me by yourself?" He ran up on one of the other players. They budded helmets like a couple of wild rams.

"Ease up, bitch. What's the problem? Trouble in paradise on your Brokeback Mountain." smirked the guy.

Jackson pushed him. His teammates came to pull him away before anything could get too serious. The refs saw and flags were instantly thrown. Loss of yards. As Dylan and Parker pulled Jackson off the field Coach Bauer yelled at him. He couldn't afford to bench him, but he could chew him out.

"Chrome what the hell is your problem?!" He yelled as he slapped his helmet. Jackson took it off and just looked at his coach. He knew he was in the wrong, his anger just got the best of him. "Did you dip your fingers in a tub of butter before the game? You've been dropping passes and fumbling all damn night!"

"Sorry coach." Is all he could say. His face was sullen. The fight with Skye was taking a toll on him mentally and physically. Every time he got tackled so far tonight he felt a little extra kick of pain from where Skylar hit him on his chest and shoulders. His lip was also busted and there was a tiny bruise on his cheek. As far as a mental standpoint, he just hasn't been able to focus tonight. Trinidad's defense has been stepping on him like a doormat.

"You need to pull your head out of your ass, because let me tell you something, if we lose this game because of you, I will drop you off in the middle of I-65 blindfolded with nothing but a quarter and a juice box. Do you understand me?!"

"Yes sir."

"Now go get some damn water."

Jackson walked over and took a seat on the bench with the rest of offense. They passed around a squirt bottle and took turns taking drinks. It wasn't even half time and they were all exhausted. This has by far been the hardest game so far.

"Dude, what's up?" Parker asked, handing the bottle to Jackson. "You're kind of sucking donkey dick right now."

"Sorry, man. My mind's just somewhere else." He said, taking a drink.

The guys look between each other. Earlier on the bus, while Jackson was back to back calling Skye for damage control, the boys discussed things. They figured Jackson wouldn't be on his game because what went down in the locker room. They couldn't afford any weak links this close to state.

"Listen man," Dylan started. "We know you're still upset about Bauer's little brother. And we get it's your feelings and shit, but could you like put that aside for the next hour. 'Cause I really wanna win state."

Jackson just cut his eyes at him and took another drink. "I apologize for having a break up four hours before the game." He said sarcastically.

"So you guys did break up. Why?"

"I don't really want to talk about it." Jackson said dryly.

"You brought it up..."

"Yeah well now I'm dropping it." He snapped.

"Guys." Kyle butted in. "There's no point in fighting with each other. You guys shouldn't be on his dick about what happened. And Jackson, you need to stop being such a pussy and get your shit together."
