A/N: Hope you like this chapter. I'm almost done with the next chapter.

Thousands gathered in The North Commerce Center Arena for the 64th Junior National Winter Cup. Gymnast from all across America were invited to participate in the festivities. The women would compete Friday and the final would take place Saturday morning. The men's events would take place Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Young gymnast were taking Las Vegas by storm and hopefully taking home gold.

"Ladies and gentlemen earlier we watched Theresa Hernandez take the All-Around gold for the girls. Since Friday evening she was bringing all she had."
said the commentator of the event.

"Yes, Tom, and it definitely paid off for." said his partner, Layla.

The Arena was now filled with the fans and family members of the male gymnasts. The competition began at roughly 6:00 pm. After the preliminary and qualifying rounds took place three of the six events had been completed: Vault, Pommel Horse, and Parallel Bars. The High Bar apparatus was know up.

"That was a pretty solid routine by David of The Art of Precision Gymnastics Center." said Tom.

David walked down the mini steps back on the solid ground. Several of his competition gave him handshakes and congratulated him. Bam patted his back as he sat down. Skylar did the same as he stretched out his arms. He was next up but had to wait for the judges to post David's scores. His cheeks were puffed out as he slowly let out breaths. Everyone in the arena heard the small ding and the gymnasts looked up at the jumbo screen to see David's scores. There was a headshot of David and one by one his scores began showing up.

"That's a pretty good score for David, it puts him in second with only two gymnast to perform after him." said Tom.

"Yes, and one of those gymnasts is David's teammate, Skylar Bauer. He's up next." added Layla.

Skye kept stretching as he walked up the steps to the bar. He chalked his hands and grips then dusted them off a little. He raised his arms and faced the judges to begin his routine. The man that assists the gymnast onto the bar placed his hands on his waist and counted him out. On three he helped raise him up to reach the bar then stepped back.

"Let's see how he does." said Tom.

"I wish him the best," started Layla. "Today really hasn't been his day so far. He tanked in the preliminary round and barely skated by in the qualifier."

"Just two weeks ago Skylar was coming off an injury to the foot. There's not much detail on it, but from what I know he had several stitches going down the sole and ball of his left foot. A foot injury like that can be really serious- that was an impressive release by Skylar!"

Skye turned and rotated on the bar. With every catch and release the crowd went wild. There was a fluidity in his routine that the other guys lacked. Bam was on the side smiling and nodding.

"It's nice to see that the injury hasn't stumped him." said Layla.

"I agree he is killing it out there, but we have to remember his foot was injured, not his wrist of shoulder. It's all in the release and it should be coming up shortly."

Skylar began turning faster, building up momentum. The faster he got, the more on edge everyone became. Skye was a crowd favorite, and biggest threat in the competition. Everyone either wanted him to kick ass or suck it. He reached his top speed then with perfect timing released from the bar. The audience became silent in an instant. Skye's family were on the edges of their seats, Skye's competition were holding their breaths, the judges were watching him like hawks. While in the air he perform several flips and twists. How aerodynamic he looked made him seem as if he was defying gravity.
